Never been sailing, well it is never too late. Beautiful older vessel and well maintained. Could have taken a nap since it was so relaxing. Plan you visit with the weather of course. It located just before the draw bridge on right, not many signs either. Plenty of parking. Not sure about small kids since the boat tilts like all sailboats do. St. Michaels is not far on your way out. Worth the reasonable cost.

Initially we booked our sail time for Friday at 1pm and when we got to the ship we found out we were the only passengers unless other people showed up, which would have been an awesome deal since private charters start at $475 and we paid $40/pp (2 people). Unfortunately the tide was unusually low and we couldn't go. The boat was booked for private charters that night and all day Saturday, so couldn't go on those days. The Captain, Jeff, immediately offered us a full refund or that we could come back on Sunday. We were supposed to head home Sunday morning, so he told us to think about it and call him either way. I'm so glad we stayed and went Sunday morning. The weather was absolutely beautiful. Captain Jeff, his First Mate Sarah, and his Second Mate (his son, age 11 (it was his birthday)) were very friendly and informative, but it's not a narrative sail. We sailed with a couple and another gentleman and we all chatted. It was a fantastic experience

I wanted to do a special surprise for my husbands 50th birthday. This sail was the highlight of our weekend at St. Michaels! We had a wonderful time. Jeff is so flexible and accommodating. The cost was very very reasonable and worth every penny!!! He answered so many of my questions before the sail. I had bought 2 tickets for a Sat night sunset sail and weather looked better for Friday so he gladly let us switch our night. Our sail was to be 5-7 and we sailed till about 7:45 so we could see the whole beautiful sunset! We definitely had a wonderful time and will do it for sure again when we go to visit again. My husband said that the sail was a great surprise and a great gift! I had never been on a boat before and was worried about getting sick, but it was a smooth sail and didn't bother me at all! Cannot wait to do it again :) Jeff and Sarah were awesome and very fun to sail with..

We booked the 1-3pm sail time and it was perfect. Captain Jeff and First Mate Sarah were knowledgeable and wonderful. The weather cooperated and we had a wonderful sail out to the Chesapeake Bay; almost lulled me to sleep on the return trip it was so relaxing. So glad we included this on our vacation. Definitely worth the money, you realize it the minute the motor engine is shut off once you have cleared the dock area and all you hear is the ocean.

Stunning old sailboat, truly lovely and engaging Captain and First Mate - incredibly relaxing, interesting sailing experience. Fairly priced, not at all pushy with any on board selling (common problem) - just a lovely cruise.

We originally were scheduled for the sunset cruise on our 30th anniversary, but we sailed 1-3 pm due to predicted evening thunderstorms. The change meant we were due a partial refund, which we elected to spend on onboard drinks. We had a great time! Captain Jeff and First Mate Emma were wonderful, as were the margaritas! Jeff and Emma really know the bay and shared great stories with us. We were staying in St. Michaels and are glad we made the short trip to Tilghman Island to go out on the Lady Patty -- great boat, great time

We went out for a sunset cruise on our anniversary. Rain threatened but the sun came out at the perfect time and we were treated with a most incredible sunset. Jeff, the captain, and PJ, the first mate, were great hosts. It made our anniversary truly memorable.

We took a day trip to St. Michael and were looking for an experience that would be memorable. The Lady Patty and her crew fit the bill in every way! The boat is in great condition, and the fresh-squeezed lime margaritas were delicious! But what made the trip were Captain Jeff and First Mate PJ. They clearly enjoy sailing on the Chesapeake and bring enthusiasm and great knowledge to the trip. If you are visiting St. Michael, MD, it is definitely worth driving an extra 15 minutes to come to Tilghman Island and taking this cruise!

We had such a wonderful evening on the Lady Patty's champagne sunset cruise last night! Capt Jeff and his mate PJ are friendly and knowledgeable about the beautiful boat and surrounding area. The weather and sunset were awesome. I highly recommend it!

We went out on the sunset champagne cruise this past weekend and had the BEST time....its an amazing wooden boat - comfortable and relaxing and just a great way to see the island from the water. The captain and first mate are so chill - which just set the tempo for the whole evening. Pls take this cruise if you have the opportunity....and try the margaritas ...they are awesome!

My girlfriend and I took the 10am on Sunday morning and it was absolutely perfect! Captain Jeff was awesome; full of stories, knowledge, and good times. His first mate PJ knows a lot about the area and was funny to listen to his back and forth with Jeff. It felt like friends invited us out for a ride instead of us being paying customers. Would do it again in a heartbeat, and plan to! PS the margaritas were phenomenal as well!

We had a great sail on the Lady Patty. The vibe is informal - it felt as if we were taking a sail with some friends. The captain & first mate were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

A group of 8 friends were looking for a fun activity over the Memorial Day weekend, so we contacted Jeffery at Lady Patty's for a sunset cruise. We had a wonderful time - the sunset was beautiful, the wind was just enough for a good sail, AND we started the trip with about a dozen harbor porpoises accompanying us out to the waters. They were having much fun swimming and jumping around our boat. A very special treat. Jeffery and JP were a great team.

We just took our 3rd sunset sail aboard the Lady Patty. Captain Jeff is always entertaining and knows the Bay and his boats history. Very relaxing experience and his specialty boat drinks are on the mark. If you're visiting the area, this is a must do activity.

In October 2014, me and my "Ladies" dinner group (4 total) had a fantastic morning sail with Captain Jeff on the Lady Patty. We're 60 something and this experience is something I'll always remember. We were all grinning ear to ear and loved being on the Chesapeake Bay! Gorgeous boat, charming Captain, beautiful Chesapeake Bay, lovely weather, spray in our faces, barefoot ....Wow!
