We visited the Davis Farmland in the summer of 2014 and we had a great time, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, we saw the birds of prey show which was very well done with some great types of owl's and hawks, the baby animals were definitely the best part of the visit, the kids get to hold some of the baby goats and sheep, the water park was a good time as well with a huge bubble maker going all afternoon, I highly recommend this place to young families you will have a hard time getting the kids to leave!

Great place to bring the kids. Between the animals and the little water park, the kids have s great time. I have many friends that have annual passes

Okay to the people saying that the haunted maze wasn't scary, I couldn't disagree more! It was the scariest night of my life. I would not recommend this for kids under the age of 11. I am 17 and I am now permanently frightened of chain saws. There are atleast 20 chainsaw people in the maze and they corner you in, putting the chainsaw right in your face to the point where you think they are going to kill you. At one point, I had to pretend to fall down to get them to stop. Another time I had to physically cut through the corn to get by. After a while I just had to go into a different mentality and pretend I wasn't afraid because they go after the most frightened people in the group. After the first 30 minutes it got very frustrating because I get scared really easily. Not only were my friend and I scared out of my minds, but we also had to find our way out of the HUGE maze. I remember I almost cried at the end because I finally made it through and was no longer having a heart attack. I went with seven friends and only me and my best friend were scared. In a way it made it more fun to be scared. But as I said after about 30 minutes I just pretended to be scared because I didn't want to be targeted and that made it a little aggravating because I was just done going through and I just wanted to be airlifted out of there. The activities outside of the mega maze were fun. They had a huge volleyball game and a blow up bouncy house. They also had a bouncy house. I would never go again because I don't like to be scared but if you love to be scared half to death, I would definitely recommend going. I would also recommend going in a large group to make the experience more fun and less terrifying.

Once a year my wife and I take our two grandchildren to "Moo Moo's Place" to play with the animals, jump in the "bouncy house", and play in the various play areas. It's always a memorable day and we highly recommend other grandparents to take advantage of this opportunity.

I went to Davis Farmland this past spring. I took my grandson to see the newest attraction which was a very hairy donkey. It was great, it was with its mother. I love the hay ride where you go around the farm and see animals and the history of the farm is explained. The best time to go is in the Spring when all the baby animals are around. There is a nice place to eat. The food is good. When the weather is warmer there is a nice little water section. The kids love it. Its nice to see farm animals existing and being well cared for . Its nice to spend the day there.

The corn maze is one of the best in the area. We had a couple 2 year olds with us, and they got tired after an hour or so, but they had a blast. It was well staffed in case you needed to get out. A great little play area in the beginning. The food was really expensive with limited choices (nothing healthy)...... the entrance fee wasn't too bad, maybe a little steep if your bringing a group, but there are coupons around if you look for them. Fun for the little ones and adults. A nice fall afternoon activity

This is not our first time going to the Mega Maze. We try to go every year. We really enjoyed this year since they added so many more things to find. In addition to going over the seven bridges we had to find six places to make rubbings of the maze, and six things that can keep you safe from Zombies. There were signs posted throughout the maze on zombie trivia and testing your zombie IQ. Each time you saw one of these there was a place to add it on your adventure page. There were even six puzzles for the children to figure out. There were three people posted on individual bridges who were possible suspects in causing the zombie outbreak and you had to find out which one was at fault by interviewing them. In the corners of the maze are physical activities to do: a rock wall, a climbing rope, a beanbag launcher are just a few.I suggest you bring a backpack with water and a snack. If it is warm, bring sunscreen. If the weather is uncertain, dress in layers. We wore tshirrts under long sleeved shirts covered by sweatshirts. We adjusted throughout the day as the sun went in and out of the clouds.Just a comment on the music: we were there for four hours and never heard a song repeated! Someone spent a considerable amount of time picking songs that met their theme and ones that are just fun to listen to.In the courtyard are additional things to do. They have added a zip line for an additional cost (expensive for one trip). There was a petting zoo and a food counter. They had a couple of fire pits going with Adirondack chairs around them which was really nice as the day got colder. There was outdoor chess and checkers and an outdoor Jenga. There were two walking puzzles and several other puzzle activities set up along with bocce and shuffleboard. There was even a "sandbox" filled with corn for the little ones.Note: This is not handicapped accessible and they do not recommend strollers. If it has rained recently the maze can get quite muddy.

WOW... My friends and I went to Fright Nights Columbus Day weekend unsure of what to expect about a haunted cornfield AND let me tell you frightening was an understatement!!!! We were in the maze over 90 minutes trying to find our way out with every type of haunt you could imagine jumping out at you, chasing you, creeping you out and hunting you down. My 6 ft tall, 250lb boyfriend even admitted this is the first halloween attraction that has actually scared him and he couldn't wait to find his way out.If your looking for a haunted halloween attraction then this is IT and we have been everywhere !!! We will definitely be back next year! (I forgot mention the maze is so large that you don't need to stand it line for an hour just to get in)

Just as a fair warning, this is my favorite attraction - ever, if you are not in the mood to read an extremely positive review, stop reading now.I am lucky enough to live relatively close to Sterling. I have been bringing my kids here for the last 8 years (they are now 9 and 10). The farm is great fun. There is so much to do here between the playgrounds, the animals, the splash park, the kids are entertained and actively engaged. My kids are just about at the age where they are outgrowing the farm but, they still enjoy a trip each summer. The grounds are well maintained and clean. I have visited at the height of business and messes were cleaned immediately and the place looked as good as when we visit at less busy times. My favorite activity is the Mega Maze. Due to work constraints, we missed the 2012 and 2013 season. We visited yesterday - when it was very crowded - and we had the time of our lives. Honestly, a day at this maze brought us closer together than a Disney Cruise. My husband and I laughed and danced through the maze and the kids loved the climbing structures and the activities they 'found' inside. After we got ourselves out of the maze, the kids had fun playing Barnyard Volleyball, sitting in the 'corn box' and playing the other games that were available while my husband and I sat by the fire in adirondack chairs. I can see my kids enjoy the maze for many years to come. For those that complain about the price, it's honestly much cheaper than a day at Six Flags or Canobie Lake Park and it's more active and educational. Not to mention you can tailor your stay to the time you have available - stretch it out if you've got all day - cut the visit short if you only have a few hours.Overall, this is high quality family fun. I owe the Davis Family a big 'thank you' - they've done an amazing job!

This is our 8th year traveling to the Mega Maze. Such a great day!Plan to walk a lot! This is not your average maze! And give yourself enough time- as you can spend hours going through. What makes this maze so great, is all the extra things to do while mazing. They have great areas for kids to play, and while mazing- lots of extras to find. If you want to find "everything" you could spend hours completing your tasks. Great fun for families of all ages!

We visited the Davis attraction in mid September with our two sons ages 22 and 8. Our visit included the corn maze, laser tag, and apple orchard. The corn maze was extremely extensive. Plan on more than 1 hour for this attraction. The misc. special attractions scattered throughout the maze and the interactive maps made this fun. The laser tag in the woods was a favorite. The apple picking was good too. We appreciated the bonus yard games and activities offered at the entrance of the maze. I broke down and had an apple cider donut- well worth it! Overall a very fun afternoon.

We visited the Davis Farmland for the first time with our 2 year old daughter and she loved it. The place is well maintained, the staff very friendly and there are tons of animals - many of which roaming around and easily approachable. Apart from the animals, there are many other options for kids to enjoy, e.g. swings, toddler playground, a bounce house, etc. It's approximately a 50 minute ride from downtown Boston and we will definitely visit again - highly recommended. There is also a pick your own apple orchard but we didn't have time to visit.

My family has been visiting every year for 4 years now. It's not only clean but everywhere you look, there's something for the kids to do . The staff are very friendly, you can tell they like kids and like their jobs. There are various play areas, activities, so many animals you can pet and hold, and the amazing splash pad . Not to mention the hayrides are always a favorite.

I went yesterday with my husband, 1 year old and 2 1/2 year old. We had such a good time. The staff was friendly, it was kept tidy and my 2 1/2 year old loved it. He didn't want to leave each area so much so that after 4 hours when exhaustion hit we didn't get to finish everything! We could definitely spend another day there. I'm already thinking we'll go back in the Fall or Spring. It was so engaging that plenty of the parents were able to sit at the many picnic tables and adirondoack chairs around the farm and watch their children and maybe even relax a little. I will definitely bring our lunches next time to save money. They did tend to be about $10 each, but that being said at least the burgers, hot dogs and fries were actually pretty good tasting. Also, to really let my kids loose in the splash pad (at their young age), I'd probably have to bring myself a change of clothes. The splash pad area is very good size with some cool things like a bubble area and a 'car wash'. We loved it all, the interactive play area, playground, animals, and splash pad. Next time we'll get to the hayride and the big slide and other playground...so much to do!

After visiting here again with my second son, I have an even better appreciation of this place. It is really special and well taken care of but the best part, the staff is really friendly and goes out of their way to make people feel welcome. They even bring various smaller animals around for the kids to see up close and pet. Plus price wise you get a lot for your money and there are a lot of attractions here. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for just a nice family attraction with lots to do!
