This place is pretty cool. It's right next to the infamous Mingo County Courthouse. I saw the American Pickers guys at the Coal House once!

A very nice museum to the coal industry and it is also the visitors center where you can find out more about the area.

Very interesting history of the coal mining business. Also some Hatfield & McCoy history. This town is somewhat in a depressed area but there are wonderful interesting places

This is a really cool building that is built out of coal ! If you love history and/or geocaching, I would definitely recommend visiting this area.

We, unfortunately, visited after hours for a local geocache and they were not open. It looks like a very cool place on the inside.
