If you're looking for a great way to see Flathead Lake, then I thoroughly recommend booking a tour with Joe at Blue Goose Aviation. Having fished on the lake I wanted to see more of the surrounding landscape and mountains and was lucky enough to find Blue Goose. Joe is a retired air force pilot who lives in the area and has great local knowledge. The flight was safe, but fun, and I felt completely at ease throughout the trip. We took off around 4pm and got to see the sunset over the mountains, and even grabbed a quick post-flight beer together! Joe's a lovely guy and booking a flight with him is well worth while :)
