The Paducah Riverwalk in locate in downtown Paducah near the Floodwall Murals. The Ohio River and Mississippi River meet there. There are a lot of shopping available.

My brother and I walked two miles in the Paducah city park and on the riverwalk. I liked the new concrete walkway on top of the berm that protects the city of Paducah from river flooding. The view is great, the walking fun, and it is a fine way to get some moderate excercise.

Paducah Lowertown District at lower Broadway is a visitors pleasure. Tourist River cruises stop there and guests delight in the River Walk area. There are many really good restaurants there to try and all kinds of antique shops to peruse. See the Flood Wall's many murals and visit the Museum nearby featuring changing exhibitions. National Quilt Museum is in short walking distance. Spend as much time as you want to go up and down both sides of Broadway. Many quilting supply stores nearby.

I am here several times a week and I love it. It is tranquil and relaxing, especially when not many people are around. I spent time with the gulls today with several of them taking bread directly from my hand. The water is blue and fairly calm today. If you are in town it is worth a visit, especially if you just need a minute to relax. Enjoy the murals while you are here too.

My husband and I came to Paducah on a day trip to do some sightseeing. We found many attractions on Trip Advisor and decided to check them out. The Paducah Riverwalk was a very peaceful area. After viewing the Floodwall Murals we walked down to photograph the Ohio and Tennessee Rivers at the riverwalk. This is a wonderful area to just sit and "chill out" and to have a picnic lunch at one of the tables. It is across the street from the River Discovery Center and goes on for miles and miles. It was a cold day so we didn't spend too much time there but we will definitely be back in the warmer weather.

We took an afternoon to walk the historic downtown and check out the river walk. The wall with all of the murals on it was really neat, as well as the old train cars and all of the antique shops.

Well maintained and picturesque walk along the Ohio Riverfront with full view of boat launching, river traffic (including barges), and the confluence of the Ohio and Tennessee Rivers. Picnic at one of the tables, relax and linger. This is the setting for summer concerts, fireworks, and festivals. On the other side of the floodwall you'll find the "Wall to Wall" Murals and be in walking distance to restaurants and unique boutique and antique shopping.

scenic view all rolled into one. See the history of Paducah as portrayed in the murals painted on the flood walls and the importance and dangers of the river while taking a leisurely stroll along the riverfront. There are areas to sit and watch the river flow by or to picnic as the barges work on the water or just ponder the wildlife (& the humans) that frequent the riverfront. Just a nice, pleasant, & inexpensive way to spend part of a day.

It was quite when we visited, but we enjoyed the town and the surroundings. I prefer it to when the river boats arrive with the crowds.

Best music and fun, not to mention melt in your mouth BBQ. Everything from fried twinkles to deep fried chips! You can walk and enjoy the sites or sit and people watch. Something for everyone!

This festival grows and improves every year. This was year 20 and it was perfect. The weather cooperated with warm days and cool nights. It took place Sept. 25-27 along the beautiful river front in Paducah Kentucky. An estimated 40,000 people attended. There were some assorted vendors but most people came to watch the bar-b-que contest and eat the delicious food. And IT WAS delicious. If you don't mind crowds, come visit Paducah during this festival. It is walking distance to the mural walk, quilt museum and farmer's market also.

Just a great relaxing thing to do to watch the river. The downtown area adjoining is really nice and picturesque.
