They are so easy!Live in the Present Moment Brownies, by Lori Phoebe set oven at 350 degrees1 stick real sweet Butter melted, add 1 cup organic sugar, 1/3 -1/2 cup organic cocoa, 1 teas real vanilla, stir together, add 2 eggs stir well! Add 1/2 cup flour and 1 teas pink salt, stir until well mixed but don't over mix. This was my third rafting trip down the Hudson. Each adventure was with a different outfitter and I had a blast the first two times, and Link and crew somehow figured out how to make this most recent trip even better than the two previous adventures. Our group of 7 did an overnight with them and it couldn't have been a better time. The camping spot they chose was amazing. The food was top notch, delicious and healthy (I like to eat!). We were told it "was made with love," and for sure it was true. From booking over the phone to saying farewell at the end, we just couldn't be happier with the experience. Not only did we have a great time, we all picked up a few outdoors camping tricks from the experienced guides. Next rafting trip I go, I'm sure to book with Square Eddy, and I suggest you do the same!

Square Eddy was our first whitewater experience and it was awesome, could not have been better. Linc and Phoebe, our trip guides, were very river savvy, had excellent understanding of the river and its history, and from the start, made us feel comfortable and ready to take on any challenge the river could throw at us. Food provided on the trip expanded our adventure... home-made, delicious sandwiches with lemonade and tasty deserts. And who would guess our river run would be capped off with a hot dog and cold beer. Wow!!! in every respect...kudos to Linc and Phoebe, MASTER river guides. We would definitely recommend Square Eddy Expeditions to anyone interested in a whitewater rafting experience. We would do it again in a heart-beat with Square Eddy.

I went on my first whitewater rafting experience recently with Square Eddy. Being a novice, I was a little dubious about it but from the beginning, I knew I was in good hands. Both Linc and Lori are well versed in the history of the area as well as 2 of the nicest people around!We hiked in and had a homemade delicious (provided for us) lunch at OK Slip Falls. (Want to know how the Falls got their name....you better go on the trip!) Then continued down to the Hudson RIver, where we were met by a table full of homemade goodies and lemonade.We had a very thorough educational safety talk prior to getting in the rafts. We then practiced what we had been taught. (My dubiousness went overboard! :-)We rafted down the river with Lori at the helm and it was a blast! She had total command of the raft (and us, for that manner). She knew every nook and cranny of the river. It was amazing.We ended the day with a fabulous hot dog and a cold one. I cannot remember a more perfect day. There are a lot of raft companies in North Creek area but why would you bother with anyone else? Square Eddy is the best there is. Hands down.

Reviewer: DanThis weekend was my second whitewater rafting adventure with Square Eddy. I can say, without reservation, that you will not regret having your own adventure with Square Eddy. The first time out was with a group of good friends, while the second time (this past weekend) was with my family and family of a close friend. Both very different experiences and both a ton of fun - due in large part to the folks at Square Eddy. Linc, Lori and Jake are terrific, and as many of the reviews point out, they treat you like family. Quite simply, they make it a day you will remember for a long time. As Linc enthusiastically says, "The adventure begins!"

Square Eddy is a wonderful small rafting company on the Hudson. The boats are a great size, not too big or small, the guides, Lori, Linc and Jake, were knowledgeable, safe and fun. What more could one ask for on a trip? Oh, you could ask for great snacks, lunch and beverages, and that is just what was included. We had a great day on the river after a late season rain, and the guides made it a blast. I have been on the river with other companies and think the attention to detail as well as personal extras, like a warm hot dog snack and changing rooms at the end differentiate Square Eddy from their competition. Go have some fun with friends or family, it is worth it!

We highly recommend river rafting with Square Eddy - a small Family driven operator on Hudson River. We were a Group of 7 on our own raft guided by Lori (owner). She knows every stone of the river, which gave us the optimal way down 17 miles. She put much effort into the ride for us to experience all aspects of rafting.The lunch was also top level - made by her self. To sum up: Top professional and very service minded.

While it is always the customers we attract to this beautiful river that make the experience incredible there are some that stick in our minds as very special people.I absolutely will remember my day with you, your wife and our friends from Denmark for a very long time, the laughter stills rings off the walls of the Gorge. Have you ever met a happier family? I have so much respect for you and your awesome wife of many years, taking in foreign exchange students for 11 months a year and providing them with a safe fun experience in the United States. Well Miss, We were so happy you decided to step out of your comfort zone and join us on the beautiful Hudson River for the day; after walking into our river base and looking around you just had to give it a try.It was great to put you in the front of my oar boat so you didn't have to worry about paddling unless you wanted to.
