Flying J is one of the great Jefferson County Open Space parks, located just north of Conifer on Hwy 73. This park is heavily forested and not too steep, so a good walk with the family.

This county park is just the right size for a morning or afternoon hike or picnic. The trail is fairly easy, but not flat. There is a small lake and a picnic area with shelters. There are also clean bathrooms. Parking is plentiful.
