I like this area, beautiful place to walk and explore. Lots of room for kiddies to run, dog parks, and even a lovely cemetery.

Snow, rain, or shine, the commons and adjoining parks are a wonderful walk. You'll see wildlife, families enjoying a day out, soccer, football, the occasional remote control plane and dogs frolicking at the dog park. We try to get out and enjoy the open space several times a week.

You can do it all here and year round walking playing out door sports or just enjoy the sun. watch out for Coyotes they are around but most of the time they will leave you alone.

There is a fun playground area and lots of space to play. The open space trails are wonderful for run or bike ride.

The amount of open space in this park is extensive and great to use when walking my dog. The Broomfield leash law still applies here so Fido cannot really stretch his legs. For this reason, I normally use open space in Boulder County that has a great off-leash program. Broomfield should look into adopting something similar as it is revenue generating and friendly to citizens that own dogs. This area also has a dog park, but it's not real big and is gravel only. Again, I must travel to other municipalities that have better facilities. I have seen coyotes here on occasion around sunset so make sure to keep an eye out for them.

This is a great place to spend time outside, the trails are wonderful, people are friendly and there are lots of fields for the kids to play sports.

Broomfield has an extensive network of parks, open space, and trails - enjoyable for residents and visitors. The County Commons complex of park, open space, sports fields, trails, and an indoor recreation center (a star in the highly competitive arena of north Metro indoor recreation centers - competing with Westminster and Arvada for supremacy in this regard), comprises about 350 acres. Park and trail maps are available at:http://www.broomfield.org/maps/trails_map.shtmlhttp://www.broomfield.org/openspace/Parks_Openspace_full_city_.pdfHow much time is this worth? On a cool morning or evening, for walking, exploring, or casual biking, a couple of hours? More if you bring a picnic or have a group using the sports facilities. On a hot summer afternoon? Depends on how much you like to be out in the Denver-area sun at that time of year.
