This was my first time skiing, so I decided to take a never have I ever ski course and it was great. The resort itself is very friendly and welcoming. If you go in the morning and its your first time there, make sure you give yourself enough time to get your rentals, get your ski lift tickets etc, given that it is mostly crowed in the AMs not the PMs. The day I went it was snowing and it was beautiful. Great food and helpful staff. My only issue was some of the employees working the ski rental areas. They were not attentive to the needs of people and took a long time checking people out, which caused me to be late to my ski course. Also, I believe the resort needs to make it more clear to newbies where one checks in and perhaps make a solo check out line for people who are taking ski courses. Overall, it was a great experience and I can't wait to go back! Love Utah!

We have always skied in Colorado, but thought we'd try Utah. The proximity to the airport is a real selling point! This mountain was comparable to the ones we've skied in Colorado, and we'd definitely go back.

Unseasonably warm temperatures and drizzle at the base, made me nervous for a day of skiing. However, as a blue trail skier, there were many runs higher up the mountain which were in surprisingly good condition and I was able to ski all day with short lines and pretty empty slopes.

This was our first time at a ski resort in the USA and as we haven't been skiing for quite a while we mostly stuck to the green and blue runs and really enjoyed our day- nothing to complain about lifts, etc. However lunch options are a complete rip-off...15$ for a Chicken Cesar Salad consisting of some dry salad leafs and a 3-day old bread roll- all self service, no thank you !!!

I did a ski trip to the resort during the holiday season. It goes without saying that there was a crush of humanity at the resort during this time of the year. And the frigid temperatures made my stay memorable, to say the least. However, the skiing was great…but my low review results from the terrible attitude of several of the lift operators/personnel. In one case, I slightly bumped into one of the lift line barriers that indicates where you stop before getting on the lift and had the operator yell at me and followed up with a sarcastic remark. I was utterly outraged and livid with this type of behavior when one pays over $100 for a lift ticket. While some of the other operators/lift line personnel were fine, others were rude or unfriendly. Hey, I get that dealing with so many people can be taxing, but if you can't deal with the crowds, then don't take that type of job.I've skied all of my life, but have never had a lift operator yell at me. Needless to say, I won't be back.

Great skiing for the entire family. The hill is easy to get to and the staff was friendly. The only issue is how commercial this place has gotten. Food is not good and really expensive.

Resort/condo location is great. Very satisfied with our condo. Easy access to skiing. City bus system is easy to use. Kids have been all over town. We would come back.

Staff here very friendly and accomodating. Took our kids on their first snowboarding trip and they had a blast. All staff are willing to help with anything, from slowing the chair lifts a bit, to answering a skills question mid slope.Highly recommend this resort for all ages and all skill levels.

I'm used to skiing in Europe, and this was my first experience in the USA.There was a significant downside to the trip, very little snow. Apparently they had a particularly bad season snow wise, so that was a bit of a down side. I could see there were several runs which were never opened, could still see grass and soil even in March. That said, I found the easier runs very well groomed and enough snow making to make the experience enjoyable. We also had some snow towards the end of our trip which made a huge difference. This is a big ski area and can keep intermediate level skiers busy for quite a few days.I was travelling a beginner and I think they make particular effort to ensure even beginners can get the whole experience (green runs right from the top of the mountain to the bottom). I think this makes it a particularly good resort for families.I absolutely loved the night skiing. Very few skiers around, we had snow 2 evenings. There is a bit of a downside, the runs can be in a bad condition by that time of the day, especially over the weekend. Still loved it though.

Great mountain! Has varied terrain for beginner and expert skiers - at times right next to each other - so that a large group with varied talents can stick and ski together. The resort staff are friendly and helpful. And although this has been a bad snow year for Utah, the coverage was still good and the snow was way better than what we have in CA. We will definitely come back!

I enjoyed skiing with our family here. There is a variety of terrain for every level. Great resort. Don't be afraid to go up the mountain as the snow is better up high and the terrain is gentle or steep. You pick.

Park City seems that it is all about the dollar to me. The skiing is great given great conditions, and the terrain is plentiful; however, there is no where to change or sit while changing! With all of this space, PC can't find a spot to add a bench for people to put on their boots?! The lockers are also very expensive at $7 for a small one for a day. Unfortunately, this rental is a necessity because the resort offers no space whatsoever to place your bags. I know this seems trivial, but walking into Park City, one does not feel welcomed - or even comfortable. The entire resort seems aimed at getting your money - and then not really caring whether you enjoy your time there or not. The employees / lift attendants are inconsistent in their customer service. Overall, if not for the terrain, I'd give this resort "average" or lower.

There are some great runs here, but this place is far from my favorite ski resort. We had fresh snow and grooming was good so no complaints about the conditions, but most of the runs are pretty short except for the interminable green from the top. There are some very nice blue cruisers.Ski school for a young beginner was great with small classes and good instructors, but BIG bucks. Somewhat balancing that is the ability to get lift tickets on line at least a day earlier that represent significant savings. It's also nice that there are two other resorts in close proximityPlaces to get food are small and cramped with no imaginative food options. They are also SLOW--not enough staff and an inadequate work flow--getting a hot dog took me 25 minutes. If they really link this place with the Canyons, they had better improve the eating options--they couldn't possibly manage increased traffic.

Just had a great day of skiing in the sunshine! I especially enjoyed the mountain tour. We got a great overview of both the ski area and Park City history. I got a good plan in place for the rest of my time here. I love to find these tours at new places, especially if I might otherwise ski alone.

PCMR has the aura of being old. Old lifts, no gondola up to the top, the base area doesn't have a fun hanging out vibe - no open fires, no BBQs going. The runs were ok - some were quite icy as there has been low snow over the winter. I had skied a few days at The Canyons where they did a better job of making snow, the lifts are newer, the runs are better marked, and there was a funner after-ski scene plus fun mid-mountain hang out areas. After skiing PCMR a couple of days, I went back to The Canyons.
