We couldn't get to all the wineries we planned but I'm glad we chose to visit Tabor Home. The wines were flavorful, the tasting room small but elegant--perfect. Our server was friendly and helpful. The vineyard was very pretty.

We visited Sunday morning at 11 and they were closed. The website said open at noon, but phone recording said at 11am. Would have liked to visit. Rated as average since didn't get inside.)

When there is music this is one of the most relaxing places to go on Sunday afternoon. Delicious wine and friendly hosts. Paul is one of the pioneers of wine in Iowa.
