We enjoyed stopping here on our way through Almelund. We were happy to get some refreshing ice cream after hiking through Wild River state park all day.

It's like stepping back in time. This store has a little bit of everything. Antiques, jewelry, new items and food items. The ice cream is great and the staff is very friendly and very informative.

Antiques, organic produce, maple syrup, Swedish gifts, ice cream...................the Almelund Mercantile is an eclectic mix of this and that and definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. Check the hours first though as they are limited.
