DiGrazia is one of my favorite wineries to visit for a tasting. When Dr. DiGrazia is there to talk about the wines it is a great experience. He is very passionate about the wines. Each time I go I leave with at least purchasing four bottles of wine. This time I bought Yankee Frost, Paragran and Williams Sonnet. I stop here a few times a year for a tasting and I always enjoy it. This time I brought someone who had never been here and she enjoyed the tasting too. She also bought a bottle of Williams Sonnet.

Every time I go, it is always a new experience! It truly is a family run winery. Each time I go I learn something new; everyone that works there can teach you something new. They all have funny stories , because most of them have been there from the beginning. Dr. DiGrazia is almost always wandering around, he might not even tell you who he is. The winery is just that down to earth. You can always expect a tour and a variety of incredible wines. Spend the time and take a trip. Its a great way to spend the day and celebrate a true CT winery!

I have visited DiGrazia Vineyards many times. My husband and I love their wines, especially Yankee Frost, Autumn Spice and Honey Blush. They are on the sweet side and fruity. Neither of us is a fan of sour red wines, so these suit our tastes perfectly. Outside, your are invited to sit at a picnic table with your wine selection and to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy under the arbor or out in the sunshine. We always enjoy a tasting and seeing Dr. DiGrazia there is always interesting and informative. My Christmas present this year was a selection of my favorites. Needless to say, I was very happy.

A friend of mine and I decided to check out Digrazia while she was in town for a few days. The tasting was inexpensive and I loved that the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable about their products (trust me I've run into plenty who are not). I love sweet wines so I was very happy with the selection I tried. My favorite was the Blue too that they made for an upcoming wine fest and the honey blush (no added sulfites- great for me because wine always makes me stuffy). Bottles are reasonably priced and what you'd expect to find from a local winery. The area is beautiful and worth a trip to visit!

Very sweet wines at DiGrazia, but balanced. Was looking for a dryer red, but most of the wines were sweeter and fruitier whites. Nice staff on hand and no grapes to be seen.....

The host is was so knowledgeable it was the best tasting. The front room was open with cute shopping, good wine, good picnic area, nice arbor with grape vine and water fountain. Overall experience a ten.

One of my FAVORITE wineries. Dr DiGrazia loves to tell us about his wines. It is a treat when he is behind the counter. I purchase 3 bottles of delicious wines.

This is a nice winery. Tasting room staff was ok. The wine was ok...nothing special. The owner is a doctor and to be honest was kind of creepy. He is a older man and made the rounds of the tasting room telling every one that he was a OB/GYN.

We often have guests and wine tasting is always a fun thing to do with adult tourists in our home town area. The staff is very nice and over the last 10+ years we almost always bring our guests here for an hour or so of fun. The owners are very nice, and the décor is so inviting. We always enjoy ourselves when we go here.

This was a warm and friendly tasting room with fabulous wines! We arrived to find it was closed but the owners graciously opened it for us. We totally enjoyed it and will come back again!

Being one of the original wineries in Connecticut, I could excuse DiGrazia's for not having their vineyards onsite (wine-making in Connecticut only became legal in the late '70's), especially since all the wine is made and bottled onsite anyway. The tour they give is so inspirational too- you can always tell the difference between an enthusiast and an expert that cares, and I can trust DiGrazia wines because they put it all out there. No, their wine will not be for everyone, but it's clean and made right, and by (mostly) their own fresh ingredients. They have a variety of wines you can't really find other places, they seem to like to experiment, but not in an unfamiliar way. I happen to LOVE their wines and find their patio the perfect treat when they have music and my friends and I need a change of scenery.

I would've gone with "Don't Bother" for my title but that was already taken. My boyfriend and I are pretty well seasoned when it comes to The CT Wine Trail, and have been to many local wineries and wine festivals. Our server at Digrazia was less than informative. She gave us the same rhetoric that was on the piece of paper in front of us. Nothing more. The wine tasting samples were SMALL. Really small. Like exactly one sip, which pales in comparison to other local wineries that participate in the CT Wine Trail. You are there to try the wine after all, right? Selection of wines was interesting, definitely different from other wineries which isn't such a bad thing, unlike the knowledge of their staff and the wine portions. Moreover, the tasting was $8.00/person. Other wineries are either free or $5-$7 range and you get better service, higher quality wine, and bigger portions.Scenery outside was just ok. Wines are not made on the premises even though Digrazia calls them self a "winery" so you wont find any vineyards. If you want nice scenery skip this place al together and go to Gouvea. You won't regret it. Better yet, just skip this place all together. You're better off trying any other winery in the state of CT.

I have been to many vineyards in NY, CT, and Europe. I'm sorry to say, these were among the least appealing wines I've tasted. And while this is called a vineyard, the vines are not on the premises. So while it is scenic, you will not see an actual vineyard. Our tasting guide didn't seem to know much about wine, and failed to tell us until after the tasting that there was a cost (we don't mind paying, but should have been told or had it stated on the tasting sheet or on the website). Overall, a disappointing venture.

Very quaint winery and tasting room on beautiful property in Brookfield. Our bartender was young and did her best explaining each wine....but not the best quality of learning about wine on the ct wine trail. Very quiet on a Tuesday afternoon. Tried six wines for $6 and then bought a glass to enjoy outside after the tasting. Bought " wild blue" very interesting and unique wine! All in all a nice experience.

Did a wine tasting. It was $8/pp to try six wines of your choosing, however, we ended up trying eight after conversations about what we liked and didn't like. The people where very nice and accommodating. We didn't get to see the seating area unfortunately.
