centre county historical society

It was nice to have somewhere different to take my brother & his wife when they visited. The guides are superb and the displays are surprisingly fun & educational. I didn't think I'd like looking in rooms, but they have done an excellent job w/ this museum. They have a healthy appreciation of history and a great commitment to the inside & outside of this unique place.

What a treasure tucked away close to Penn State and the town of State College. The house is in excellent shape with beautiful grounds and knowledgeable tour guides. A must-see for anyone interested in the history of Centre County.
