Found this little gem in my own backyard. We were looking for some things to do on a day trip. I found this place on Roadside America. I’m not really a 3 Stooges fan and figured we would spent about 30 minutes in the place, but since my son wants to be a film maker, I try to find places that will interest him. First, it’s only open on Thursdays. It’s in an industrial/office complex kind of location. You wouldn’t know it was there, if you didn’t already. The parking is plenty and free. You can’t take pictures inside, but we got one of my son standing by the entrance. The museum is $10.00 per guest. Student ID gets you in for $8.00. It’s a self-guided tour. As I said, I am not a big fan of The Three Stooges, but I was pleasantly surprised. There’s something for everyone. Every stooge item you can think of is on display….and even some you can’t! I was amazed at how many famous stars had been part of the whole Stooge industry. There’s art, posters, games, toys, books, you name it. They had a video game we played as well as a pinball machine. They have a small theater which runs Stooge films continually. We sat for a few of the short ones.To my surprise we spent about an hour and a half in the place!!! It’s three floors, with an elevator for handicap access, but it has stairs too. There is a small gift shop with some fun stuff in it. The bathrooms were clean. It’s a fun break if you live close or a quick stop over if you don’t. Only real drawback is that it’s only open on Thursdays.

I was surprised that there were so many exhibits and everything was laid out very professionally in this very modern building. The theater in the museum showed many of the short films the 3 Stooges did. There is lots of biographical information as well as movie posters, records (I didn't know they made any records), comic books, bubble gum cards, toys, books written about them, etc. It is only open on Thursdays from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm, but it can be opened for groups on other days by request. Admission is $10 for adults or $8.00 for military and seniors. Free parking.

I thought we'd be visiting a collection of junk and oddities in someone's garage. Not at all! This is an amazing first class collection of the Stooges, and pop culture in America. I remember the Stooges from TV in the 60s. The collection covers that time, but also far earlier. Photos, letters, contracts, colorful collectibles, artwork, cartoon cells and movies themselves. EVERYTHING is there in a stunning, modern building. What a gem! Not open very often, but very much worth planning a visit around their schedule.

Fun, fun, fun for all Three Stooges fans and those that would like to become one! A beautiful, state-of-the-art brand new building built to house all the memories and laughter of Stooge-lovers everywhere. The building even has a theatre where visitors can sit and relax while laughing at shorts of the Stooges' antics. A young fan seated near the front--too young to remember when the shorts were a t.v. staple, was obviously having a wonderful time--judging by the peels of laughter! Plan a couple of hours (or more) to come and enjoy this unique attraction.

Admittedly, I am a Stoogaholic, so of course I loved this museum. I have to say though, even my high expectations were surpassed. Whether you love 'em or can't stand 'em, this is a top-notch collection and very professionally designed museum. From lobby cards, to candid photos, to biographical pieces, to artistic and pop culture tributes, all aspects of Stoogism are represented. (Yes, even Joe Besser and Curly Joe DeRita receive their appropriate recognition.) The life-sized figures are particularly striking. On the other hand, if you just want to immerse yourself in the shorts, there is a comfortable theater where you can come and go as long as you like.Even if you are not specifically a Stooge fan, if you enjoy Americana, early film or comedy history, it is well worth the trip. Perhaps because it is privately run and only open once a week, this museum is highly underrated and underpublicized. If it weren't so 'off the beaten path', there were be a line out the door. You should soitenly go!TIP: Sheble Lane is a small street that looks like you turned into a business complex. The Stoogeum is set back a bit, to the south. Not a fancy entrance- just a plain sign.

My boyfriend loves the Stooges. I do not. But when we heard there was a museum dedicated to the Stooges in Pennsylvania, curiosity got the best of me, and I wanted to go as badly as he did. We finally got that chance, and boy, were we pleased. It's in an odd location -- a business park in a suburban setting -- but once you find it, you'll be glad you came. The interior is sleek and contemporary. There is an aura of fun in the air as you move through the exhibits hearing the Stooges in the background. The interactive computers have Curly's face on the main screen, and to use them you poke him in the eyes! I was able to look up the show they performed when my dad saw them in Baltimore. There are costumes, posters, toys, and more. One floor is dedicated to artwork featuring the Stooges. There is a theater too, where you can sit and watch them in action. It's amazing. Throughout it all, you get the sense of not only their humor, but their humanity. My only disappointment was that photography was not allowed. If you are even just a casual fan, or happen to live with one, please stop by The Stoogeum.

I am not a big Three Stooges fan, but my husband is. I really enjoyed learning about the history of the Three Stooges and how their act developed over the years. Displays were very nformative and memorabilia collection was more than I anticipated. (They need a better gift shop!)

We decided to visit after reading an article about the museum in the local paper, otherwise we would never have known that it exists. We are glad that we went. The displays were very informative about the Stooges' personal lives. There is a nice (and free) theater that shows Stooge films, so allow time if you would like to watch any. There is a lot of Stooge memorabilia to see. The building itself is interesting and well maintained. Just be aware that they only accept cash for admission.

For Christmas my wife gave me tickets to The Stoogeum, a museum dedicated to the Three Stooges. The place is small but it is filled with everything Stooges. There are memorabilia, biographies, movie posters, and more. Several televisions through the three levels constantly show "shorts". I learned that the Three Stooges even had a movie nominated for an Academy Award. This is a "jewel in the rough". We spent several hours to take everything in. My wife stumbled onto this place while surfing the internet. What a great find. If you are a Stooge fan, you have to check this place out.

This place is phenomenal. It gets very little publicity and is off the beaten path but it is awesome. Most locals don't even know of the museums existence but they don't know how much they are missing in their own backyard. There is so much to see that it is best to visit on 2 separate days to avoid overload. A must see for any Stooge fan. Even non-Stooge fans will come away with a true understanding of the group's art as well as their lives.

Any true fan of the three stooges must make a visit to the "Stoogeum". Three full floors of Stooges memorabilia along with a lovely theater that shows the Stooges shorts. We visited during a yearly fan club meeting and the place was jammed with Stooges fans from all over the world. It was fascinating to meet Moe's son and grand-daughter and hear their stories of growing up with the Stooges. They have some great souvenirs and signing up for the fan club will get you a quarterly newsletter that is truly fantastic. You must make an appointment or visit their website to see the dates that they are open to the public. We had a great time!

My husband took me here. He is a huge fan of the Three Stooges. I was amazed at the amount of memorabilia here. I don't think there is anything that isn't here. It was all very interesting to me but of course my husband really enjoyed it! A great day. One of a kind. A MUST SEE for any Stooge fan, bigger and better than expected. We would like to go back again.

WOW! What a creation of a museum! Everything from original clothing and comics, to memorabilia, to artwork, to playable arcade games, to a MINI MOVIE theater where you can just sit a watch three stooges episode after episode. Good place to spend a rainy day! Definitely check out this exclusive GEM as I don't believe there are any others out there.

You might think a place called the Stoogeum, which houses Three Stooges Memorabilia, would look like something a knucklehead came up with. But you would be wrong. The Stoogeum is a beautifully designed building, well-lit, temperature controlled, with a theater and art gallery. Shorts of the Stooges are shown in the theater, as well as on TVs throughout the museum. The memorabilia is first class. Posters from many of the shorts, art cards, as well as toys, books and games inspired by the stooges. There is also a plethora of personal belongings, and some world class photographs of the Stooges, and actors they worked with (some of which are autographed). There is a great deal of history of the group on display as well.Other surprises include a life-size sculpture of The Three Stooges, and some beautiful paintings of the boys by various artists, as well as stills from their cartoons. It's definitely worth a visit. Admission s $10; seniors 8.

If you are fans of The Three Stooges this is a must visit. The museum has limited hours so planaccordingly. It is located in a suburb of Philadelphia so having a car is probably a necessity. There is such a treasure trove of items plus Three Stooges films that you will probably spend afew hours.
