It is called gambling not stealing. You can put your Money in the machines and after and 1 hour you realize the machines are shut off. They take your money one day the next day they let people win.revolving they never Loose. Keeps going day of losers next day the money lost goes to the next day winners not to give a bonus.if you don't know better you will continue to feed them

People rude. Free beer yeah right. Gotta beg for one after playing for an hour. Bartender. Rude. Asked about a certain slot. Got an I don't know. Oh and you have to pay to get in. Seriously. This place is tragic. Here to kill time waiting on wife in a meeting. I decided to go sit in the car for two hours instead. Never again. Don't go!!

At best this is like playing at casinos off the strip in Vegas. The concept that the house can't always win apparently means nothing to them. If you just want to lose over and over again by all means go but instead I would suggest going anywhere but valley forge casino. That is all.

Stayed the night when we had to be here for a funeral; great bar---good drinks and good food, great service; fabulous room; good rate

So I get there and I have to pay to get in. Then once I I realize its full of chain smokers everywhere. Some machines have a no smoking sign on the screen, but it obviously wasn't enforced. I got a headache within 5 minutes from the smoke. Machines weren't fun. Tables were crowded. I'd skip this casino and go to Harrahs or go into DE to play if I were you. Oh yea, I gave a 5 for the sites because of the crazy looking people there.

First you arrive and get to wait in line for 15 or 20 minutes. Then you pay them to allow you in the casino. You get a voucher for that amount you can use at the bar, but you can't use that money to gamble. The bartenders are nice. Some of the waitresses are complete jerks. They don't want to be there is the impression you get. On busy night's good luck getting a table game. The dealers are nice. They have restaurants that have high prices that exceed the quality of the food. I would pass on this place if you can. The juice isn't worth the squeeze.

First IssueLast Tuesday we hired a babysitter to use a player's offer for Complimentary Dinner for Two at Pacific Prime. When we arrived I called to find out where in the hotel the restaurant was located. We were told that the restaurant was closed due to "Weather" despite the fact that we were able to drive in with no issues. The dinner offer was for this specific date yet we received no notification by phone or email that the offer could not be honored. Instead, when I called them to find out the location of Pacific Prime I was told that we could utilize the offer at Valley Tavern that night and receive up to an $80 credit. I was told that this was an elegant pub atmosphere. I asked if we needed a reservation and was told "no, no reservations required". Wrong. We arrived at Valley Tavern - which is NOT an elegant pub environment. It's lively and fun but certainly not an elegant space. The young hostess immediately asked for our name on the reservation. I explained that we had called and were specifically told no reservation was required. She told me there would be at least a 20 minute wait. I was curious because there were empty tables and she then told me the wait was due to the heavy kitchen backup. At this point I was very frustrated with the whole experience. It must have been obvious by my expression because at that moment Sarah ( I believe this was her name) the manager jumped into the conversation and suggested we have a seat at the bar while we wait. She was very pleasant and good at her job -handling disgruntled customers (me). We sat at the bar and waited about 10 minutes for anyone to even speak to us. The bartenders seemed to be running food and one of them came back and just started having a conversation with customers while we waited. Finally a young male bartender asked what we wanted to drink. I asked him if we could use our $80 comp to include our drinks. He said no but then I asked to speak with a manager. Sarah was sent over (I do hope that we her name) she sat with us to see what she could do. She was friendly and very competent and also seemed to be pitching in running food out and chatting with other customers probably trying to resolve their issues as well. We ordered our drinks and took a look at the menu. Not what we had anticipated for our dinner that night certainly not the same menu as Pacific Prime. We decided to stay at the bar and eat there. We ordered the steak dinner but were told they were out of that and many other items. GREAT!!!I ended up ordering the salmon. It was fine -flavorful but no bigger than a 4 ounce filet. Maybe that is standard or maybe that is all they had left but for $18 it seemed like a very tiny portion. It was served with a small amount of broccoli and a small amount of au gratin potatoes that seemed like they were out of a box. I will say that Sarah, Valley Tavern Manager and Michael Rohrbach, Pacific Prime Manager who was also there that night, were wonderful. They tried their best to accommodate us and we really did appreciate it. As a business owner excellent customer service really means a lot and can go a long way. Both Sarah and Michael provided us with that.Second IssueWe had complimentary Room Offers all through January . I called on February 1st to see if there was a way we could use one of those for one night. I spoke to Robin who said no but I asked to speak with a manager. She suggested I speak to a Casino Host. She put me into a general host mail box but assured me they would return the call. Four hours later no call. I called again and Robin told me they get in after noon but always call back. That was Sunday and still no calls from anyone! I get that maybe they couldn't honor the offer but call me and let me know. That's poor customer service. Third IssueWe were playing on the floor and I ordered a champagne. The cocktail servers seem to be scarce here at least when we have visited. The champagne came and it was completely flat. I waited 40 minutes for the server (whom I tipped as we always do) to return to check on us. She was no where to be found so I took my disgusting flat cheap champagne to the bar and asked if I could get another. At first the bartender said no but a manager told him to give me another drink. When I finally did see the server I explained to her the drink was flat and I would love a second champagne but please be sure it's not old. She gave me a hard time telling me that's the only bottle she had there. Basically she offered no solution and walked away with a that's that attitude. Not very welcoming at all. Surprisingly, I didn't realize she would do this, she did come back about 25 minutes later with a glass of champagne and told me the first one must have been from a bottle opened two days prior. I thanked her for the effort but have to say it was not a pleasant experience getting attitude from a cocktail server.Sorry to be so negative. I really want to like VF Casino and enjoy the experience but they keep giving us reasons to not enjoy it.

I guess you can smoke in all casino's. Can't stand it. The casino is small and there are not enough roulette tables.

A money pit with no value. No comps, even for those who bet more than the 35 cent playing norm there. A plethora of indigent public benefit squanderers who chain smoke and scout out active players. Uninteresting and obviously tight slot parlor similar to the very worst cruise ship. On my most recent and indeed my last visit a promotion brought in every motor scooter and walker within miles with their 35 cent bets, the place was a teeming cesspool of losers all wanting to win a boat that sat out in the Valley Forge Winter elements uncovered for weeks... Actual retail value less than $20,000. Exactly, where did one find out if they had accumulated the needed 20 tier points for the other drawing for the Dick's Sporting Goods Gift Card. confusing and a comedy relief in someways as most VF patrons that evening had trouble shifting themselves let one play any sports at all. I find it tragic that VF hasn't even changed the Bicentenial Era carpeting within the area between the casino and the Rattyson Hotel circa 1980. This place makes even the worst Atlantic City Hotel Casino look like Monte Carlo.

We have visited this casino 3 times now and I don't think we will go back. We only play slots but you should occasionally hit a small jackpot, but not here. 3 times and never even won a $1. The slots are so tight you can hear the squeak from the turnpike. Food court was nothing to write home about either.

I have been a elite player at valley since they opened I love my stays there and usually get comps so it don't come out I of my pocket , it'd a small casino and some timed is crowded but it's a nice environment I had won and loss money that's why is called gambling !!! The staff there is friendly and I usually been satisfied with the way I been treated , my host Scott Costner is a great human being and had become a wonderful executive development due to his skills dealing with custumers and being sure that they are satisfied constantly , the free play is been lower down and gifts been little cheap lol but over all I think the place is great , custumer service needs improvement and some staff tanning how to deal with different people , I love to spend my weekends off there and I hope it gets better

The Dealers are very professional and friendly along with 99 percent of their employee's who are great. However the comps are a joke. I like the fact that there is a charge to get in the Casino by paying for a membership card that is good for three months as this keeps the homeless people out of their Casino. Some pit boss' try to get the players to stay at the table games once they win a good amount, but that is part of their job so no complaints there. However with horrible comps it does not pay to stick around once you win. Don't forget to tip the Dealers after a win that is how the Dealers make a living. Always tip the servers even if you just order water. The way I look at it I tip to pay for the entertainment. I would rate the Dealers 5 stars and most of the Pitt Boss' 4 stars. However I would rate the managements comp policy 1 star and their comp policy is not the fault of the employee's. All and all I am still a customer there. I would not mind to continue playing the table games after I'm lucky enough to win but when they don't throw a winner a bone now and then how to they expect them to keep playing.
