Such a fun place to go! There are a lot of hands-on activities and fun things for both kids and adults. The water area in particular is fun, sending plastic balls down water chutes, etc. They close kind of early (4ish), so be sure to go early in the day. You'll need a LOT of time to get through everything.

My wife and I took our grandson there last summer and he had a great time. He especially liked the digging pit. I hope the facility continues to grow with more attractions.

Whether you spend an hour or a whole day here, there are lots of different activities to do, from building with blocks and erector sets to face painting. they even have a little theatre where your kids can dress up and put on a play with pre-scripted or open dialogue stories. You can spend the whole day here and not get bored. Family memberships are a no brainer.Have fun!!!

Very Educational and good for children to interact and role play for future occupations. We liked the mini TV studio the best :)

We love all the attractions there and the workers are super nice. The summer day camps are great too. It's a fun place for kids and adults.

Very good time with my 5 year old and 2 year old. They had a blast all day long. Disappointing that the Quack Factory always has something not working when we go, but with the most recent added exhibits, I can accept. Not anything like the children's museum in Indiapolis, but a good place local musuem for the residents of Evansville. I recommend the membership package. Really good deal. We have renewed for 2 years now.

I finally had the opportunity to visit the Children's museum of Evansville! I found that it was a place the children thoroughly enjoyed with such a good variety of learning and fun activities in various rooms. After visiting that first time, I continued to take them several more times and they had just as much fun at each of our visits.I found that some areas would be changed a little, adding new activities or just rearranged. The things we have focused on so far were the stage and wardrobe for acting out and narrating plays they knew from stories they had heard or just making up their own play, ad lib! There was an office and bank area with a drive-thru window. There was a room where they could shoot balls, there was a water activity room, a restaurant room, tv production, medical clinic, as well as other activities and areas -- each had things that the children could use to actually feel that they were in that setting.I wish I had gone there in previous years, but will continue to enjoy it with my grandchildren whose ages range from 4 years old to 15 and each of these children had a great time at each visit! I also found that there was a reduced entrance fee for certain days in the afternoons since there was less time (2 hours) to enjoy all that the museum had to offer. I found that up to 2 hours was very adequate with the age range of my grandchildren. They didn't tire and were enjoying themselves the entire time!I was able to park on the street in front of the museum at each of my visits. I was afraid parking might be a problem, but since it was early afternoon and there weren't other major events going on at the time, parking was not a problem.I will definitely be returning with my grandchildren for more creative and interactive fun!

We just visited you today with our 15 month old daughter and I thought the exhibits were wonderful. Even with her being much younger than most of the other children there was plenty for her to do and explore new things.

Hi! cMoe has opened two brand new galleries in the last 6 months. The Live Well Gallery focuses on providing information to build health literacy and personal responsibility for wellness. Children learn to Eat Well in the Rainbow Bistro, Play Well on the Carrot Climber, Stay Well while learning about their bodies in the Well Check Clinic, be SunSmart on the beach and become roving reporters in the WBWL TV Station. In Fantastic Plastic, children learn about the fascinating and often surprising process of manufacturing and recycling plastics. We hope you will come back to visit cMoe and our brand new spaces soon!

I have a 3 and 5 year old. Yes not everything worked, but it is continuously being played it and things break.. just like at your own house. There were not issues with bathrooms being clean or smelling when we were visiting. There are a lot of different hands on activities and from living close to STL the payment to get it is the same as around here. We would come back again and would recommend it!

Our children enjoyed this small little gem. If we had paid full price we may have been disappointed, but we utilized a travel Indiana family package that gave us 2 free tickets. Our boys really enjoyed all the hands on exhibits.

After spending many days at the Indianapolis Children's Museum, I didn't think CMOE had much chance of comparing. To be sure, Cmoe is much smaller and in earlier stages of developing, but it is a legit Children's Museum and several steps beyond the science-lab-in-a-room children's museums you often see in smaller cities. The building itself is gorgeous and interesting, and Cmoe has done a great job matching up space with exhibits that are interesting and interactive. My children enjoy going there a couple times a month. It's a nice place to spend a few hours. People have said that the membership/fees are a little high. I feel that the walk-in pricing is very fair and that the membership of $100 is well worth it to have a place to play on a rainy or cold afternoon, or just to check out new exhibits or take advantage of some of the many special events scheduled throughout the year. The programming is well done and they also offer great camps in the summer and throughout the year at breaks. Whether you're passing through and looking for a place to let kids run off some energy or you're local and want a fun place to come with kids, you should give this a go.

The kids with us - 5 and 3 - were easily entertained and educated by all the wonderful hands on displays. Wide open areas so several kids can be doing the same thing together.Parking in downtown is not always easy but there is a parking garage if you wish to spend the extra dollars.

This museum is good for kids up to age 10, I would say. We visited yesterday and a couple of their exhibits were not working. I had been there years before, so I know that in the water room there used to be a fine mist coming up from the round swirling balls in the middle. Also, there is a huge hot air balloon that is supposed to rise as the kids feed the balls into the attraction. That was broken as well. It's too bad, because that was the whole idea of the exhibit to make the balloon rise to the top of the room.I did find the lady at the front desk to be kind and helpful. They just need to do some repair work.
