We enjoyed our goodies and yes the people that help us did like there jobs.It was near the end of the day. Very nice workers. We enjoyed the ice cream and if you think the price are to high than you need to stay at walmart. This is a tourist town and you just need to enjoy it not pinch penny's.I will be going back it is what makes taking a trip apart of traveling. The chocolate treats tasted just fine. The only thing that I think they need to do is take plastic instead of just cash. Two differnts couples came in with there family and both had to go and find cash and one other family left when waiting in line when the couple in frount of them had to pay with cash. Its a new world and plastic cards are safer than cash and travelers checks.

If you really want to waste $6.50 then buy a mandatory 1/2 lb (I think .... maybe it was a 1/4) to try .... because when you do you will pitch it! Horrible. Grainy. We should have known better when we could not try it -- or even buy a small amount. What were we thinking???? Tourists I guess! So, we ended up throwing it all away and went across the street for Fat Frog Ice cream -- much better way to splurge on calories.

Okay, so you don't go to a fudge store for coffee. But how hard is it to screw up a cup of coffee? You'd think that for $1.85 you'd get a decent cup of coffee, but you'd think wrong. Pastries were small and overpriced, but adequate.

I was raised in Pismo Beach, CA so am addicted to tourist type shops. This candy shop was no disappointment. We bought turtles, sea foam, caramels, English Toffee and 4 slabs of different types of fudge. A day later we have sampled almost every one! I'd better pace myself since this is only day 7 of a 6 month road trip! The candy was delicious and the owner educated us on ingredients and a timely discussion on Ukraine since we are traveling to Eastern and Northern Europe. I really enjoy when the owner takes the time to get to know the customers. I will remember these interactions long after the wonderful confections are consumed. Highly recommend!

Good coffee, nice crew, perfect sweeties, really enjoy divinities and clusters, the haystacks was superb. Really recommend to visit!

I should have figured out that the fudge sucked when we weren't allowed to sample it... who would have guessed a fudge shop that specializes in fudge would be terrible? So we bought 4 different kinds... half pound of each and they all tasted like waxy sugar. There was no discernable flavor except sugar. No creamy melt in your mouth fudge like grandma used to make. .. just crap fudge. If you want to work on getting type 2 diabetes from a sugar overload do it somewhere that actually tastes worth the sugar coma it will cause.

Had to be the 'Best Ever', I gained 5 lbs. HINT: Try the chocolate/peanut butter fudge. Prices are very reasonable also.

Always a must stop a any fudge place like this. This one did not let us down. We Always stock up on this stuff whenever we see one. Have tried many places and this one is right up there with the best.

My first choice for fudge was Silk Fudge. When we couldn't find that store we settled for Turtle Town. There are no free samples here so no way to know that the fudge is grainy from crystallization. The flavor isn't bad, but it's not worth the money.

I visited with my children and got a salted caramel that was fresh, soft and just the right amount of salt. They use Lavazza coffee which is the #1 coffee in Italy and my espresso was superb! My daughter enjoyed a piece of cookies n cream fudge that was creamy in texture and full of cookies. My son loved the handmade peanut butter truffles and asked for a box to take home. The service is friendly and very efficient for being in such a small spot. If you are in Keystone I would definately recommend a stop here!

Our group bought 4 different favors of fudge and each one was granular and flavorless, even the peanut butter. Difficult to mess up peanut butter fudge, but they managed.

This place is called Turtle Town, not sure if the name changed but the address matches it. Decent coffee and a selection of tasty treats.

Due to other reviews I felt this was THE place to go for fudge. I bought two kinds of the fudge and a salted caramel candy. I actually make candies myself so I love to shop and compare. All three items I purchased had crystalized. The flavours were good and I could taste potential but I wasn't there to buy potential. Very, very disappointed.

This fudge shop is a must-do on any of our days in this area of the Black HIils-As locals, we, too, love to meander through the towns and take in the sights time & time again. Whenever we are in Keystone, our favorite thing to do is stop at the shop and order some of their homemade ice cream. My fav is a rich vanilla, possibly with maple, that has chunks and shaving of their homemade dark chocolate & swirls and hunks of their caramel. Their caramel is WONDERFUL- soft, but not loose-soothing, full of flavor and never grainy or sugary! Hubby likes the shakes made out of his selections of fresh ice cream. Nothing goes better with this than a cup of espresso-they have a full coffee bar. Most friends we bring love buying goodies and gifts from their huge variety of chocolate, caramel and nut creations (see our pic). After you get your selection, go stroll outside, windowshop, and people watch while you savor your treats.
