I have been to Taste of Sta Rita Hills twice and was delighted both times by the quality of wines chosen for tasting and also the graciousness of the host, Antonio Moretti. Antonio does a nice job of pairing some cheeses, which is not common in many tasting rooms, but really helps enhance the experience. If you get a chance, walk down a few doors to Moretti Wines tasting room as well. You will not be disappointed.

I love this place because they bring together wines from different, small wineries. Provides a nice variety and very well curator. Staff is extremely knowledgable and friendly. Also, delicious food to pair with wines - truffle cheese, grans padano, bread, salami - all included in the tasting fee.

So I've found the other reviews to be very accurate. What I'd liked about this tasting room was the way they pair samples of cheese, salumi and bread with the wines. One soft cheese seemed like it was made specifically for the pinot they were pouring when I was there last December. The tasting bar is a little small, so it can't handle a big crowd, but that's about the only thing that would keep me from returning. Go on weekdays, Thursdays and Fridays, for a relaxed pace. And be sure to stop by the Moretti tasting room, which had the same samples of food with the wine.

This is a tasting room in the wine ghetto that allows small wineries that are unable to have a tasting room to showcase their wines. The Pinot coming for Santa Rita are fantastic. The owner is wonderful. Make sure to visit their tasting room just a few doors down at Morretti.

Antonio Moretti and his wife Jeni greet people in their small tasting room and treat you as though you were in their house or out on the porch sharing a glass of two of wine. They are extremely well versed in the viticulture of the area and can discuss the larger and more famous entities of the Santa Rita appellation. Jeni brought out some small samples of excellent cheese, some small pieces of bread and a wonderful olive oil all with the comment that wine is best enjoyed with some food. Earlier in the afternoon we had enjoyed a hosted tasting at Foley and also at Babcock. Two wineries a day is our normal limit and we stopped by the Wine Ghetto just to see what was up there. This was a throwback experience of the kind we enjoyed in Napa and environs 35 years ago. Due to the small production runs of many of their wines, I can not recommend specific product. We did leave with bottles of Pinot Noir that were just excellent. I highly recommend stopping here as your treatment will be among the best you will encounter and this excellent couple deserves your support. You will find some surprising wines offered. There is a fee for tasting..santa Rita apellatiion.

This tasting room features a number of small producers that feature wines from Santa Rita Hills grapes, including some based elsewhere (such as Paso Roble). The only downside is that you can't choose which wineries you'd like to sample, but -- happily -- we discovered a couple that otherwise would have remained unknown to us.Owner Antonio Moretti (who also produces wine under his own label) was pouring a selection of 5 different wineries, and we wound up buying pinot from Ryan Cochrane and El Ray, plus a couple of Moretti's tasty white blend that will be enjoyed as a "summer sipper."We also bought to take with us some of the yummy white truffle-infused cheese that he was pairing with some of the wines.

I loved, loved, loved this tasting room. We hesitated because they were not pouring wines that we were interested in. This quickly changed when, for $10, each wine (which turned out to be very good) were paired with amazing cheeses, sausages, etc. all chosen by the owner (who is a chef, I understand). Don't miss this one. REALLY worth the trip. This one and Zotovich are a must.

This facility in the Lompoc Wine Ghetto features many local wineries, most too small to have their own tasting facility. We had some very good wines. The folks are friendly.

Antonio Moretti owns Taste of Sta. Rita Hills and gave us the best wine tasting experience we ever had. He took a lot of time to explain all about the Santa Rita Hills appellation and the uniqueness of the wines there. He has an incredible collection of small wineries he represents that you can't taste anywhere else. He is obviously passionate about what he does. He also takes the time to serve special cheeses with the wine line up. When in the Wine Ghetto, you must go see Taste of Sta. Rita Hills and experience Antonio's hospitality!

Well done Tony !!!
