I came here after seeing a picture of the benedict. BENEDICT IS ONLY SERVED ON THE WEEKEND!What did you order?Huevos Rancheros Azeteca bed of black beans, layered with soft corn tortillas, cold pulled pork, pico de gallo with nopales, over medium eggs it passes the eye test, but doesn't board the flavor train, and was a little disappointed at the lack of flavor and temperature of the pulled pork. the restaurant has great natural lighting and the service is really attentive. the portion was large. not sure i'd order this again.

Don't let the line outside deter you. The restaurant is very well run and the line moves quickly-it's well worth the rate. Doyle St. Cafe is only open for breakfast and lunch and offers terrific egg and omelet dishes, super French Toast, and excellent pancakes. And did I mention their coffee is excellent. There are also a number of salad and sandwiches available, but I have only had breakfast there. It is on a small block, just off of Powell St. but they have a parking lot across the street so no worries there. Simple the best in the area.

At 10am Saturday morning 2 of the 4 arrive knowing 2 more coming soon. Could not be seated until all were there. Room is pleasant with friendly staff. Omelets offered at about $10. Menu said with potatoes. No problem changing to fruit that was tasty fresh. Recommend '

The cafe was recommended by a friend when we were looking for a nice place for breakfast. It offers everything from plain bagels with cream cheese to full breakfast with eggs, sausages, potatoes and everything you can ask for. The service was excellent and the staff extremely friendly. The coffee could be better though.

Great Emeryville find for breakfast and brunch! We live in Emeryville and find folks traveling to eat at Doyle St in the heart of this one square mile city. Laid back in that East Bay kinda way!

My daughter recommended this little restaurant that is unobtrusive and we would have driven right by it if she hadn't been with us. The breakfast was delicious and served warm and in a timely fashion.
