Seville is a wonderful city to visit. There are plenty things to see, to taste, to smell... But to be honest, this monument might be the best one. It is totally a must in your visit to this city. Absolutely amazing, I have visited it more three or four times and in every of them I discover new "secrets". 1 tip: during peak season there is a long queue to entry in, best time to go just after lunch (14pm)2 tip: if you travel with kids there is a crossroad inside the gardens

We made the mistake of thinking we could see Alcazar in 90 minutes, but we were so wrong. The buildings are beautiful and well worth spending time in, but so are the gardens which are massive, wonderfully well maintained, and so peaceful. We had the audio guide which was helpful, but they also give you a plan of the house and gardens when you go in. Allow plenty of time so that you can take it all in.

Marvellous interiors in this multi room palace. Very pleasant gardens. Pensionistas get a very cheap entry rate so take id if you qualify. Snack bar fare a bit basic and quite expensive compared to city cafes but nice seating area outside.

This was well worth the admission price. It was so relaxing to wander around the countless rooms, courtyards and gardens. There were so many different styles of rooms - tiles, arches, tapestries! - you never knew what you would come across next. While it wasn't too hot when we visited, I can see how it is a great place to escape summer heat. Overall, beautifully maintained and a real joy to visit!

The exterior looks like any fort, but step inside and you are transported to the exotic .This is somewhere you should not miss, hire the audio guide for a few euros so you get to know the history of this wonderful place. The architecture is stunning , and when you are tired head out to the wonderful gardens to sit in the sun. When you have rested wander through these gardens to the sound of water from the many fountains. Give yourself around four hours to really explore, its well worth it .
