Visited this beautiful building on a Sunday and enjoyed the history exhibit in the main floor, very interactive, informative and engaging even for our young children. Unfortunately the upstairs was inaccessible so we didn't get to see the main hall and organ. Lovely stained glass, wish I could have enjoyed some if the guided tours other reviews mention.

If you are lucky enough to catch a guided tour you will not be disappointed. An extremely beautiful building inside and out.

The Guildhall is a thing of beauty. The stain glass windows were amazing and held so much history. Loved the exhibition on the ground floor about the founding of Derry. Loved it so much I went back for a second visit.

Loved the historical display on the ground floor but disappointed not to be able to ascend the staircase to the first floor as there was an event taking place. Fantastic windows with stained glass and great detail. Revived my memories of the guildhall in the 60s and 70s. Very well restored after the Troubles. Guildhall square outside very accessible too and a lot changed from my childhood.

The staff were so welcoming we were loath to leave after an hour's browsing and absorbing some of the history of this unique city.

On a wet Saturday we stepped into the Guildhall and we were met by Gerry,someone who was dying to tell us all about the building.We needed a cup of coffee so he sent us down to the little cafe which was warm and welcoming.Back up for two o'clock and Gerry took us on a tour of the Guildhall.A very historic building and a guide who knew his history inside out.Each stained glass window had a story to tell and Gerry brought it alive.We would recommend this visit to anyone visiting the city and make sure and ask for Gerry!

The refurbished establishment was meant to apply to tourists. However it applied to people who worked there or had some kind of hand in the establishment.

The Guildhall is a lovely building and after years of not being able to enter it is great that you can now have a wander around and have a look at the very interesting free museum inside.

The Guildhall is a beautifully restored building with a fabulous Organ. The staff were helpfull and friendly (thanks Gerry) and their desire to sell the city was obvious

This stunning building is just outside the fabulous city walls. Dating back to 1890 it has a beautiful hall and stained glass windows, and a massive organ. There is plenty to see with much information of its past history. It defies belief that during the troubles evil morons planted bombs there to destroy something that should instil local pride.

One of our first stops when we visited the NorthWest recently. This attraction is situated near the Peace Bridge and the City Hotel.It is really worth visiting. Just ask for Gerry to give you a tour of the place - he really knows his stuff and is so well informed about the history of the City and the Guildhall.The tour takes about 45 minutes and is free. After this take a bracing walk around the City's walls reading the information kiosks along the way.Great way to spend an afternoon.

Take time to walk through the history and explore. This building is built like a castle. Helpful staff. We went during a special function for children with disabilities. Security people who were there for the event were very helpful to us (as tourists).

This is a free exhibition. The Guildhall is very beautiful. There is plenty out on display and is very informative. It is well worth a visit. It is across from the peace bridge so very handy to find.
