Water tower is located in historical part of town. Tower itself is good wine bar with good selection of local wines. After refreshment it's worthy to walk around in area.

The views around the area are very nice. There is the old Jewish quarter nearby, which is interesting. The water front is beautiful. It is worth seeing if you are interested in seeing how a town started. We enjoyed the whole area and little cafes around there.

This old Water Tower is now a wine bar. Perfect place to sit by the river, watching the swans with a glass of fine Slovenian wine. Great staff, we popped in twice and both times sampled some wonderful local wines. The barman also recommended restaurants to us that were excellent.

This is a very small tower along the river bank. We didn't have time to go in - so I can't say anything about the service. Do not expect anything special and if you don't have time, just skip it!

The watertower is now a small pub where you can tast lovely wines. Enyou the riverside and look at the bridges.

This tower used to be part of the ancient fortifications of the city. It's situated on the bank of the River Drava where a number of other landmarks are situated.

Nice place with swans around. It the most beautiful on February when there are birds.. and excellent green place in the summer. Miss it.

Very good location on the bank of Drava river. Great wine and you can really enjoy the shadow of a great tree in the summer. They serve great wine and all kinds of other beverages.

Take a walk along the river shore. You will see most interesting sights, including the Water Tower, the Jewish quarter, the old vine and the Judgment Tower. The children will love the swans and ducks on the Drava River. Relax in one of many cafes.

Башня, конечно, не впечатляет – ни выси, ни размаха, ни особой красоты. Но, собственно, она не этим ценна. Водяная башня – это часть оборонительных укреплений XVI века, которая очень неплохо сохранилась. Этим она и ценна. В конце концов, мы прикоснулись к Истории!

Carino e pittoresco edificio sul fiume. Una delle poche cose storiche e degli scorci carini da vedere in città. Pulito, ben tenuto ma nulla di più.

In un paese scarno di elementi artistico architettonici finisce che questo edificio passi per un'attrazione: a fianco del fiume Drava trovate questa costruzione, definita torre, che di per sé non presenta nulla di particolare... Costruzione che si può trovare in ogni dove.Al suo interno una vineria e fuori tavolini accanto al percorso d'acqua dai quali si può godere una splendida vista (eufemismo) su uno squallido ponte viabilistico poco lontano.

Честно говоря, в Мариборе не очень густо в плане достопримечательностей - максимум часа 2 побродить, и набережная, где стоит башня, - самое для прогулок подходящее место, поскольку тут и поживописнее, и повеселее - вода, ивы. Башня ничем особенным не выделяется, будь такая где-то в Вене - прошли бы мимо, но для Марибора - офигеть, какая ценность:)

Maribor (Slowenien) an der Drau gelegen, ist immer wieder eine Reise wert. Besonders schön und edyllisch ist der Spaziergang am Lend an der Drau. Hier gibt es schöne Lokale und besonders empfehlenswert ist der Wasserturm der eine Vinothek beherbergt. Hier sitzt man gemütlich bei einem Glas Wein und geniest die südliche Sonne.
