All entrance fees are free with the Torino Card.

We went up the hill in an old train. The basilica was quite impressive. Goog views on the hills and the city

A beautiful Basilica, situated on the top of a hill, with nice views. The tombs are wonderful monuments of art. The guide there explained details about them. We also visited the monument of the entire football team of Torino whose airplane crashed back in 1949. It is just a few steps by the side of the Basilica. I recommend this visit to Superga to anyone who visited Torino.

Baroque at his best. The travel guide tells me that here the former kings of Italy have been buried. The baroque architecture is astonishing. The Basilica is situated on top of a hill and the view of the city below is purely breathtaking!! This is a place that any person traveling to Torino should visit!!

Choose a beautiful clear day for visiting the basilica. It's position makes it perfect for breathtaking views of the city and surrounding countryside. The basilica itself is well worth a visit - the tombs of a number of Savoy kings can be visited in the crypt of the church and the dome can also be accessed on foot. Guided tours of the crypts are available. Reaching the basilica by funicular can also be fun - there is a short uphill walk to reach the top from the station, though!

Allow some time to visit Superga. Not only is it a beautiful Basilica but the panoramic view from the site is wonderful.

Take the train ride up to the church. The views from the top, on a good day, are spectacular. Recommend taking a guided tour of the basilica of Superga.

The Basilica is nice but nothing special happening in it.. the view from Superga is just beautiful. There is a shrine to the Torino team who were on board an aircraft which smashed into the mountain. There is a passage on the right side of the basilica.

Astonishing view from this fantastic hill, if it is a clear shiny day, take your time to visit this landmark for a great view or Turin and the alps. The “Basilica” is fully accessible and served by good car access and also a very charming trolley system.

Great vista point over the city of Torino on a hilltop with a breathtaking view over Torino. The basilica is a beautiful example of the baroque architecture designed by the famous architect Filippo Juvarra (1678-1736), creator of several historical buildings in Torino (e.g. Palazzo Madama) or the 'Duomo' in Como. The basilica is crowned with a grandious dome worthy to climb up to have a great panorama over the city in the valley of the river Po girdled around by the peaks of the Alps.

The place is enchanting and full of history. Savoy's (the once king of Italy) are still been buried there (or in chambery, France.. it's their choice) by right. Then there is the history about the "Grande Torino" one of the strongest soccer team the world has ever seen. And the place is so magnificent you shouldn't miss it.Still without a guide you'll loose half the fun!
