    昨天下了场大雪,在杜伊斯堡天气总是随机的模式下,果断决定出去了。天气好好,有点太阳,就是风吹的冷。照片还是美美的。坐903直接到。

Saw this plugged by TripAdvisor on their Twitter feed and knew I was going to be passing by so took a detour. It's fairly easy to get to and free parking on the road opposite. Nice uphill walk to get to it then great fun to play on. I visited in the day time but could see how it could be a little dodgy at night (although the pictures I've see of it lit up at night make me want to go back again!)If you're nearby, definitely worth a detour.

As a previous review mentioned, this area can feel questionable. Visited alone during a cold winter day during the week. The path to and from is not lit and in parts hidden from view in an area which felt sketchy. Not a high traffic area in the cold and probably best visited on a warm, sunny day.

Fun, free, family-friendly, outdoor activity. It was a great way to spend some time outside on a beautiful, warm autumn day. I would recommend a visit time of 1-2 hours, but you can always make it longer if the weather is nice and take a picnic with you. The grounds are wonderful for enjoying a picnic.

Well, it's worth seeing but quite strange. The area around is a bit scary at night, we passed several prostitutes in the street. The path to the roller coaster is not lit, and is quite ominous. We are glad we went but recommend going in the daytime instead.

It looks like a walkable roller coaster, naturally without looping. It is quite Ok but somehow it lacks an attraction. For the residents, it was certainly the best thing you could do with this industrial wasteland. But, there are no toilets, no refreshments nearby. However, this is the free admission

It's a breathtaking view when you reach the top I must say. You can either climb up the hill to reach it or riding a bike. It's a must see in Duisburg!!

This is an unusual, interesting, if a little pointless attraction. Basically a weird set of steps to walk on that looks like a rollercoaster from afar. Pleased to have visited it however.

First walking roller coaster we have been on! My teenager and 11 year old enjoyed running through it. Great place for photos too. Pity there is nothing else around it. For the older folks, do note that there is a hill to walk up to get to it. It's about a 10 - 15 mins walk up. My mum and mum-in-law also didn't attempt to walk on the roller coaster after the long climb up the hill.

Check that out. Looks like a rollercoaster with looping, you really can walk it, except for the looping :)) You have a great view from the mountain where tiger & turtle is positioned.

I have been there in the evening but I guess the best would be to go there during the day. It´s not that great of a thing, but pretty amazing the idea. Since it is a little far from everything, just go there if you got plenty of spare time.

Best to visit in the evening or at night as it looks even better lit up. Free, ample parking and an easy walk but remember it is on top of a small hill so can be cold.

Better than what we'd thought it would be. Easy to get the 903 tram down there and back. Its free, not many people around. Nice view of surroundings albeit the view is quite industrial.

Finding this rollercoaster ride might be a bit tricky so research your address in advance (I drove to an incorrent place in Duisburg twice, losing 30 min). This piece of art stands atop a 75 meter high hill and walking at the top of the rollercoaster nets you around 115 meters height. The loop is closed of but other that that you can walk around the rollercoaster on two sides, taking in its surreal architecture and underlying landscapes. Very unique because rollercoasters usually last around 30 secs, this one took me 45 min to an hour.

Saw pictures of this online, and thought that this looked like a really cool place to visit - and when we realized that this was close to Dusseldorf Airport, our mind was made up. Got up early on a Sunday on our last morning of our German vacation (just prior to our flight out) and plugged in our GPS unit with the address, and off we went. It's about a 20 -25 minute drive from the airport, in a quiet area south of Duisburg. The site appears to be a reclaimed industrial area built on a hill, with one side overlooking the Rhine and a large power plant, and the other the countryside. Basically, this is a large roller coaster like staircase that you can climb (there are panels that stop you from the looping portion). It is indeed very cool, and makes for some great pictures. We scrambled up and down the staircase (and some of our group did admit to vertigo when climbing around). We parked on the street, and it is then a short hike from there up the hill to the staircase, and there are benches placed around the sculpture to sit and enjoy the view. It's a fun place to take a family and teens as it is a different kind of sightseeing stop ! I've read that it is lit up at night, and would probably be a very striking view then....Not much in the immediate surrounding area that we could tell, but it was very early on a Sunday that we visited.
