Had a brillIant day out with my kids, nice open lake my kids enjoyed swimming in it. Cafe is not over priced, nice walk around the lake

This lake is lovely, you can swim in the summer, take a stroll around or just sit in the cafe, have an icecream and relax. My kids love it, there is a playground, a beach and the lake is connected to other lakes in the area via a bike pathe that runs through the middle of the country side - no cars. Lovely place for a Sunday afternoon visit or whole day trip.

Hier handelt es sich um einen alten Baggersee, welcher nun zum Badesee umfunktioniert wurde. Hier gibt es einen schönen Strandabschnitt mit einem Seecafe. Einen schönen "Wander-"Weg rund um den See und Sport- und Spielmöglichkeiten.Der See liegt direkt am Fahrradweg über den alten Bahndamm zwischen Rheine und Wettringen, in Neuenkirchen.Es schönes Ausflugsziel!
