Nice spacious beach but the swell churns up the soft sand so you cant see the gaps between the flat rocks just at the water's edge.Much better and safer beaches on Kos

We have been to this beach every time we have been to Kos, which is about 4 times now. One of the best beached around and possibly the best on Kos. Yes, it is clothing optional but people are so relaxed about it that the experience is in no way uncomfortable. The prices have gone up by 1 Euro to €8 for the longers and parasol but well worth it for the comfort and shade. All shapes and sizes and nationalities are represented so don't be shy, give it a go!

This is the real deal. Textiles are to the west. Nicely shelving swimming too. Tranquil peaceful place to enjoy an all over with like minded folks of all ages with no funny stuff. Enjoy. Mx

What a beach it's called paradise or a reason loungers 8 euro for the 2 and worth every penny get bit of nudity but didn't bother us

We spent three weeks on this beach, clothes optional! Best place to get an all over tan. Beds cost eight euros a day. The beach is looked after by a lovely chap called Panos, he sells cold beer & water too. No pressure, no worries, do it!

Peaceful is all I need to say, no crowds, no noise, just total tranquility..beautiful calm sea, views to die for, transport needed to get there, but once you've been, you'll go to no other...

Beautiful,beautiful beach...gorgeous sand & sea. Taverna was fab too,with lovely ice cold drinks. If you are at all unsteady on your feet,the steps down can be a little daunting,but well worth it.

Spent a gentle night moored here on our charted sailboat from Kos. Ate in the little tavern and explored the delightful little town.

Well having been a supporter of the Beach,3 previous reviews, so we were looking forward to our return a week or so ago.But it is obvious the reports have drawn more people to this previous virtually deserted beach. Sadly many have left there Mark by not removing Litter, we found many an abandoned Beach Parasol, one of which we utilised one day due to high winds. Next year!? will probably use the lesser used Naturist Beaches on the South East of the Island Paradiso Beach or Tingaki or Mastichari. Sadly this Beach changed for us this year, beware the reviewing of peaceful places.

This is part of a long stretch of beach along Kefalos bay. Shucking your clothes off is optional but not essential if passing through to visit the rest of the bay. If you do choose to enjoy this opportunity to have the Greek sun caress you all over then make sure you plaster on that UV protection. Also a pair of surf shoes would be advisable for some of the access points to the sea as they can be a bit pebbled. There are a wider range of shapes, sizes and ages so no matter you wont feel out of place. There are plenty of other reasons for visiting the area. Just wading through the surf is a joy. The water refreshing for a swim. Watching the windsurfers soar over the water in multicoloured kites or taking part is breathtaking. Although a tourist area it has a feeling of remoteness and isolation. A getaway accepted, which permits those who wish to participate or try out nudist or semi nudist sunbathing and swimming without reproach or feeling of being a spectator sport.

7 EUR rental (standard KOS price) for two beds and a sun shade. Always had more cars parked at the beach then any other beach we visited and the age range was quite large which is always nice to see as a nudist. Some clothed people would walk past on occasion but no one stayed around oggling or had to deal with young men thinking they are God's gift to women (thankfully!).If you're a nudist this is the best beach on the island simply because of the cover it gets from the wind compared to the other beaches; once you're beyond the stone at the shore line you'll hit a sandy stretch that goes on for quite a bit with out becoming deeper; I'd guess around 1.7m depth or so.
