Saint George beach.. also known as Agios Georgios is a beautiful beach with calm blue waters. It really reminds you of the beaches in Thailand. There are no waves and one can just float around in the shallow, crystal clear waters all day. On a windy day in Paros, this beach is the only hope to get into the water because is it surrounded by hills. All other beaches become too rough to take a dip. Do dine at Captain Pipinos while you are there.

This beach - while interesting to get to as it is at the far south end of the island, and has a wonderful view once you get there - is very bare bones, and not worth the trip. One main reason is that because is it near an island high pint, and right across from the nearly (south) other island which is also high, it captures more clouds than most of Antiparos, So you are NOT getting the sun. Yes, and odd place for a beach, and which explains why is is mostly empty. There are also no lounge chairs or umbrellas to rent.Another bummer is the one tavern on the water, and adjacent to east side of the beach (which has the only bathrooms, and which you drive past for the adjacent free beach parking lot) has lousy food. We ate lunch here - it's called Papinos or something similar. It also has two separate seating areas, which look like different places, but just the one common (very disappointing) kitchen.

I have been to many beaches around Greece and the Greek islands. This is one of the most memorable. Golden sand, clear blue sallow waters, peaceful even when windy. The place to be for kids to play and build sand castles!

η παραλία είναι οργανωμένη, αλλά εμείς προχωρήσαμε πιο κάτω μέσα από ένα δύσβατο μονοπάτι,όπου βρήκαμε το μικρο εκκλησάκι.το λιμανάκι ήταν υπέροχο και ήρεμο. Μπορείτε να ξαπλώσετε κάτω από τα δέντρα για σκιά.συνολικά ήμασταν 7 άτομα και ήταν γαλήνια.τα νερά υπέροχα!

Vale tutti i 20 minuti in scooter da fare per arrivarci. Il mare è splendido e la spiaggia ha una conformazione molto particolare. Di fronte potrete ammirare l'isola di Despotiko, raggiungibile anche con piccole imbarcazioni che organizzano escursioni.Non dovrete neanche allontanarvi più di tanto per pranzare perchè a soli 20 metri ci sono un paio di ottime taverne direttamente sul mare.

Posto splendido per paesaggio e colori.purtroppo siamo capitate in una giornata con molto vento ma meritava sicuramente di essere vista!

Wow. Un mare cristallino con diverse tonalità di azzurro che si intersecano tra loro, sabbia fine e vellutata, calma totale e relax assicurato... insomma, una lingua di spiaggia con pochi ombrelloni e la giusta indipendenza.Splendida vista sull'isola disabitata di Despotiko! 8 euro il prezzo per due lettini e ombrellone, a 200 mt ci sono due tavernette

Petit bout de plage de sable dans un environnement exceptionnel.Deux Tavernes très sympa et la possibilité d'aller passer quelques heures sur l'Ile d'en face , Despotikos.Un regal.

abbiamo raggiunto questo lugo con l' itento di prendere la barca e visitare l' isola di despotiko, ma c'era troppo vento e quindi l' idea della barca e' stata abolita optato per la spiaggia, siamo scappati con il primo bus che rientrava in antiparos non so se a causa del maltemi, delle correnti o altro, il mare era torbido e invaso dalle alghe veramente pessimo, la spiaggia non e' nulla di che, attezzata con ombrelloni e lettini, mi pare costino 8 euro al giorno, e un paio di taverne di fianco al porticciolo ci si arriva comodamente in bus da antiparos se non avete mezzi vs.se non dovete proseguire per despotiko, secondo me, non ne vale la pena, di arrivare fin qui, dato che , ad esempio, la spiaggia di praslaki a 2 minuti a piedi dal porto di antiparos e' molto molto megio, sconsiglio anche il soggiorno a san giorgio, molto meglio soggiornare direttamente ad antiparosl' unico aspetto postivo e' che e' riparato dal maltemi

Génial, avec la taverne Peppinos qui a un excellent service et du poisson très frais.Il existe encore des criques désertes en crapahutant en quad ou en scooter. Si,si!!!!!!

Πολύ ωραία χρώματα καθώς την προσεγγίζεις από μακρυά. Χαλίκι λεπτό έξω και μέσα, πολλά φύκια μέσα, άνετο πάρκινγκ, σχετικά ήσυχη παραλία. Από τα must see του νησιού.

Descritta forse con troppa enfasi...ci lascia lievemente delusi...Un po' anonima la spiaggia, trasparente iil mare, pregevole lo scenario di fronte all'isoletta deserta di Dispotiko ed ad altre isolette minuscole...Attrezzata con lettini ed ombrelloni ed, a pochi metri, servizio battello per Dispotiko e alcune taverne con meravigliosa vista sul mare...Molto più particolare lo specchio di mare tra le rocce nei pressi delle Chiesa, a circa 500 matri a destra dalla spiaggia principale...è lì che il panorama ed i colori diventano particolari...

Je me demande encore pourquoi cette plage est indiquée dans le guide du routard. Elle est vraiment pas intéressante. Antiparos est pleine de belles criques, de belles plages, bien loin de celle ci qui ne présente aucun charme. Bien dommage de traverser l'île pour atterrir à cet endroit.
