samford distric historical museum

This museum has everything from the country, plus working old engines, a school room and a working forge. very good for a day out. Also has a cafe for visitors, and all the staff are volunteers.

To be honest I was not expecting a great deal...However I was pleasantly surprised!The staff were really helpful and accommodating. There are lots of buildings for the kids to explore including an old school building, petrol station and the original Ferny Grove train station. There are also really interesting artifacts from Australian history.Its very good value (price of a coffee) and worth a look if your in the village!
