I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Longreach and meeting the Kinnon Boys, Sir Rusty(their Red Cattle Dog) and family in September 2014 and went on the Stage Coach Road and attended the Night Bush Tucker and Thompson River Cruise. We all had a fabulous time. This family are just amazing. The boys work so hard both on the land and on their fabulous tourism company. Really proud to have had the chance to meet them and understand the people of the outback. You must visit them to appreciate everything Longreach has to offer they are just wonderful and the show is a credit to them. Fantastic food and a thoroughly enjoyable time.

This takes you back to the pioneer days and is a must for visitors.Try and get a seat with your back to the horses , this should prevent gifts from the horses hitting you.

We purchased a combination ticket for a great experience which lasted for over four hours.Start your journey at the courtyard of the Kinnon and Co tearooms and heritage gallery where the Cobb and Co coach ride starts from.We were up on the top of the coach in the back which will give you a great view, but also alot of dust when the horses gallop through the scrub and along dirt roads which retraces the steps of the original mail route between Longreach and Windorah.Learn about the history of the area through the commentary by the coach drivers via audio headsets which are provided to you before the ride.We then trot through the town and back to where we began after about 45 minutes. You then have "morning smoko" with some good scones, jam and cream as well as some nice tea or coffee.Upon finishing we saw an old time movie in the "theatrette" which was around 1.5 hours. We then head back to the courtyard for the "Harry Redford Old time tent show for a unique and funny show presented by Richard Kinnon and his two sons.A great combination of experiences. Be aware the shows and rides only operate from April to the end of October

What a buzz. What fantastic people. The experience is not to be missed.Took my headphones with commentary out of ears. Closed eyes and just listen to rumble and creak of coach. Wheels grinding on the dirt, clip clopping of horses hooves, the drivers call to dog and horses, the gallop etcThe smell, jingling of bridles etc the outback. The joining of the two coaches for a tarn and the separation of the two coaches for photo shots.Reality. Stress levelling. Really living. Richard Kinnon and boys, non family and supporters /staff to be applauded.

What an experience! We could only do the 7.30am coach ride, but boy was it worth it. We watched the horses being hitched up in the early morning sun, donned pioneer gear to have our photo taken with the coach and dog then climbed aboard. The neighbourhood's dogs barked a chorus as our coach clattered down the lane to the common where startled kangaroos looked up as we rumbled by. Hang on for the gallop, mud flying up after yesterday's rain. Fantastic - and then we return to the yard - morning tea - self serve with a pikelet machine! And a shop with oodles of interesting items. Of the eight weeks in Australia, this tour was my personal highlight.

We enjoyed 4 hours of history, humour and fun. The morning commenced with scones, jam, cream and tea or coffee before taking a ride through town and along the track where the coach originally travelled. Also included in the morning was an old time movie and an old fashioned tent show which was hilarious. Thoroughly recommend this

The Cobb & Co Coach ride was absolute magic. Richard's witty commentary added to the whole experience. It was thrilling to ride in the coach pulled by magnificient horses. We would also recommend going to the Captain Starlight Tent Show if you enjoy good down to earth Aussie humour. An amazing experience all round! The Station Store was fascinating!

Love the Station Store.. could spend hours there! And you put on a great show. Our 2nd time there and would go again! The coach ride was fantastic .. and having earphones to give us all the interesting facts about Longreach was great too. You all made us feel special. Thanks heaps!!

The Cobb & Co experience is a must do while in Longreach. We have learned a lot about what went on in the early years that we never knew about. The team were extremely entertaining and I haven't laughed so much in ages. This is one tour I will remember for many years to come and will tell all our Grey Nomad friends to go and see. Loved it! Loved it!

Thanks to Kinnon and Co our family had a great day, starting with Devonshire morning tea than a stage coach ride through the common land around Longreach and back through town. Great theatre/tent show. Very clever dog and horse. Stroll through the very well stocked shop for some treasures than home for a while. Than collected in the Luxury coach for our Sunset trip on the paddle wheeler boat. Great dinner around the campfire and billy tea with damper. Followed by a light show on the river and some poem's from Scotty, than bus ride back to our home. Very friendly suits all ages. A must do event. Had a great Day.

I had the pleasure of the Cobb & Co. experience this week.Richard, Jeremy ( half watt ) and the rest of the crew put on a great morning.Being lucky enough to be up front beside Richard on the coach ride, plus the lovely morning tea, the Smiley movie, topped off by the tent show added up to a great half day.Keep up the great work, guys.Don't change anything!

Did the show, stage coach ride and river cruise. These were absolutely fantastic - a real outback experience mixing history, humour and nature. Highly recommend.

A good way to experience what our first settlers experienced in travelling such long distances in the outback. The show that followed was very funny and well worth it after morning tea of scones, jam and cream.

There was nothing to dislike about this attraction and we had a great experience on the stagecoach, excellently provided by the Kinnon family.
