PGCC has 117 years of history and a reputation of providing an excellent country club experience for members and guests. Fine dining, two casual lounges, 3 ballrooms set the stage for whole lot of fun at very reasonable prices. New memberships are available.

I am not a golfer but I used to curl at Peterborough Gold and Country Club - they have a great menu for golfers and curlers alike. In August I attended a banquet there and the meal was beautifully presented, the service was excellent. It was the best banquet I have attended in years - yummy food, I would go there any time

What a wonderful place. Fabulous service, food, specialties, attention to details, and great staff & servers. Everyone so polite, friendly. The food served for our banquet was exceptionally good. When we enquired about the cheese that was one layer of the salad course, the server did not know but went to find out from the chef. Came back, advised that it is smoked cheddar, and that they do all their own smoking in house. That cheese was so beautifully smoked, very subtle, not heavy smoke, and the cheese in that salad was incredibly good. All in all, our banquet was a huge success, in no small part to the attentiveness of the staff to all our needs.A wonderful place to hold a banquet! A great success and a great time was had by all! I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to hold a great meeting, banquet, or any other celebration!

attended a wedding of a friend here, good spot! perhaps if i hit the back 9 sometime i could write a better review, but the clubhouse is nice!

Attended Christmas brunch twice! We couldn't get enough :) this golf club is a gem in Peterborough. Fantastic service and friendly faces. The food is delicious. We have booked in for Easter brunch too. The spread is out of this world. If you have an opportunity to eat here then take it! Looking forward to going here with our family.

This is wonderful test of golf. Beautiful location by the Trent canal and a new clubhouse. Practice facility is top drawer! great place to enjoy a round of golf or two.

This club is well run, banquet facilities are first class, and the food is amazing. I wish the amazing course could improve my golf game..... But that's how it goes. A must membership for anyone looking for a great private course experience.

I was invited by Fleming college Applied Project faculty & students to be a Showcase judge the Community Innovation Forum located at the Peterborough Golf & Country Club. It took all day which means food & service had to be served to not only 25 judges but many students & their teachers. As well, Terri (manager & event co ordinator) and her crew had 2 other events happening the same day! I saw relaxed and friendly staff, ate great food and experienced and clean environment. I would use the Peterborough Golf and Country Club for a big event & will tell my customers interested in weddings venues.

This review is for the clubhouse and banquet facilities. I don't golf. The PGCC has done a beautiful job of updating their clubhouse - it's gorgeous. I have eaten there three times, though, and not been very impressed by the food. Actually, the desserts were awesome, but the main courses were standard, boring fare. Presentation was not consistent with the great setting.

Friendly staff, great food, and a challenging course all combine for a nice destination. Lots of parking, good services and amenities. They understand hospitality here- catch a round if you have the chance.
