12 of us recently experienced a scuba diving live-aboard trip on catamaran Cat Ppalu operated by the Blackbeard Cruises Co. The crew (Capt. Sam, DM Emma, Cook Anre, and Engineer Chris) were all professional, charming, and exceedingly accommodating. They did a great job of ensuring every whim was met and that everyone on board had a great time!My perfect day aboard the Cat Ppalu began with a 5:30AM dawn dive at Hammerhead Gulch, courtesy of a wake up knock from Captain Sam who had arranged the dive per our request. No hammerheads this time (we'd spotted one on an earlier dive), but we were greeted by a friendly turtle conveniently positioned near the bottom of the mooring line as we descended. We finished the dive just as the sun was coming up, and followed with a sumptuous breakfast prepared by Anre. More diving in the morning and early afternoon - Blacktip Wall, Cracked Coral Head, and Wax Cut Drift. Then the group decided to spend the afternoon lounging on the beach at Shroud Cay and enjoying rum punch. A gorgeous afternoon hiking and kayaking through the mangroves ended with a sunset kayak back to the Cat Ppalu. Key Lime pie for dessert that night and I couldn't have asked for more.

We went on Four C's day trip and it was our best day in Exuma. The nature you experience and beauty are amazing. It was educational and fun. Swimming pigs, iguanas and tropical fish.... oh my...

Couldn't be more awesome. Snorkeling the grotto and the raw beauty you see is the best part. Amazing. SO WORTH IT.

Once in a life time experience. No other activity can compare to this day trip. Never before I had seen stingray and sharks from a close up. Paradise is there!!

We loved everything about the day, the water and the sights. We will do this again on our next visit to Sandals.

This was something I am so glad I did becasue I have always been afraid of sharks and this kind of helped me calm down about them. They are amazing and feel like Sandpaper...

If you get a chance to snorkel at the Sea Aquarium then I highly recommend checking it out. Very good snorkeling here compared to a lot of the other mapped out "snorkel sites" that were all mostly dead coral.

The sperm whale skeleton is interesting and at the same time sad. It dies from eating plastic bags that looked like jelly fish, floating in the ocean. Please pick up all the trash you find on the beaches. The view from the Land and Sea Park tower was amazing! Great place for photos. I purchased a beautiful calendar made by local families from the gift shop.

This is what I think of when somebody says,"Let's go to the Bahamas!" This is one of my favorite places in the world! Snorkel, Dive, Kayak, Boat, Sun, playing with sharks, pigs, and iguanas, swim alongside colorful, exotic fish as if you are in a an aquarium at the Grotto! Everything you do here is in a laid back and relaxed atmosphere! You can't leave this place totally mesmerized, relaxed and ready to go back again!

Amazing day in the park with Gully. Didn't see a single other person for the entire trip and visited some of the most idyllic beaches I've ever seen. Special bonus was spotting some baby lemon sharks on the way back to land.

We took a tour with 4 C's through Staniel Cay. I REALLY dislike all the people lucky enough to have a home around there - LOL - must be nice! The waters are GORGEOUS! The beaches were great! The waters warm and blue as blue can be. We saw the swimming pigs - what a hoot! They were quite funny to watch and a lot of fun to interact with (carefully anyway...). The Iguanas were fun too - feeding the lettuce and so on - pretty neat. But the highlight of the tour area was the sand bar - make sure you get there (I don't know if it's low tide only or what..) but just make sure. Highlight of the trip hands down. Your camera will be on fire from all the pics you'll take - it's just too beautiful of an area - never seen anything like it before.

Lots of private islands, each one with a different lucky owner spending millions to develop it to his own taste, beautiful beaches, sand bars, swimming pigs, iguanas, nurse sharks, native islands where the mail ferry stops once a week, deserted islands waiting for the next millionaire to own a piece of paradise, spectacular colors that appease all senses, better than any artist palette.

We visited the Cays with Four C's and Capt Andrew was amazing. It is a must trip. The sightseeing and the grotto is absolutely spectacular. Our boys loved seeing the pigs, the iguanas & petting the sharks. Lunch at Staniel Cay Yacht Club was really good! We can't wait to do this again!
