虽然我也是出生在北方的城市，但是却很少看到这么漂亮的雪雕，来到这个地方，像是置身于一个与世隔绝的童话世界中，虽然有些冷，但是美不胜收。

哈尔滨每年冬天都有雪雕节，是冬天游哈尔滨时绝不能错过的节目。雪雕不比冰雕，不能在里面打灯，所以要看雪雕，一定要在日间，建议早上或近傍晚时分参观，因这两个时间阳光柔和兼照射角度较佳，雪雕会漂亮些。场内的雪雕有大有小，大的是官方制作，较宏伟漂亮，小的雪雕都是大学生雪雕大赛的参赛作品，可能只是业余创作，有的颇为粗糙，但当中亦偶有佳作，譬如相片中这个叫「涅盘」的作品。景区颇大，但指示不多，好在沿途有些穿红背心的义工，可以问路，场内亦有多间小咖啡馆，可喝热饮。特别一提，冬天的太阳岛气温极低，游览时宜带备足够的御寒衣物。

海德堡之夏

冬天去的，票价比较高，里面有小吃部和肯德基，最使人震撼的是冰雕艺术，目之所及凡是看到的景象全部是冰雕而成的，有几米高的小女孩，还有动物，建筑等等。冰雕组成了故事王国，神奇的童话世界，很值的看。

完全是冰雪的童话世界，看似普通的雪，在艺术家的精心设计制作下就摇身一变变成了，艺术品，有小矮人，有公主，有王子，有城堡等等，洁白，晶莹，童话，梦幻，都让我觉得好像是回到了小时候，孩子挺多的，他们玩的也挺开心。

比较远，需要过公路大桥在江北，进景区后特别堵车，在外面排了一个多小时。人特别多，里面还有肯德基啥都，南方的朋友觉得很震撼。哈尔滨本地人很少去，价格很高。

每年的冰雪大世界都是银装素裹的童话世界。来到这里的男女老少都像回到了童年，在这个冰雪构成的世界当中徜徉，嬉戏，寻找儿时的记忆。

对于很少见到雪的南方人来说，能看到雪已经很让人着迷了。再加上灯光、背景……实在让人流连忘返。呵呵，其实在哈尔滨就像在童话世界里

The whole snow world is beautifully decorated with ice sculptures and some of the sculptures are made so delicately with very fine carving which is wonderful.

if you are from a tropical country like me, I recommend a trip to the Snow World, never has white been so exquisite and exciting as in Harbin

There is some confusion with the naming of the events. This is the Snow Sculpture Art Expo. and not to be confused with the Ice and Snow Festival. Located on Sun Island Park it is a vast parkland with many sculptures together with some snow activities such as snow slides for children, sledge rides, husky rides and an interesting folk museum adjacent from the largest snow sculpture in the park. Entrance ticket price is 240 Yuan/RMB for one adult. You can watch some snow sculpturers carve the design from a block of snow. There are some food and drink outlets and a few toilets. Can be viewed during the day and later in the afternoon. Personally the snow looks better in daylight and around dusk as it highlights the carved form, but that is a personal preference. You can get to the site by taxi and if you want you can get back to central Harbin across the frozen Songhua river on foot or by horse drawn cart or take the cable car gondola from Swan castle (50Yuan/RMB each adult) which has a good view of the area.

We enjoyed a daytime visit to this park, not crowded nor as popular as Ice Sculptures. Long walkway with huge snow sculptures beside. Get hotel or travel guide name to show to taxi driver, as some are not as familiar with taking tourists there. Walkway is very slick, warming hut at the very end is nice, take tram back out to front of park. Very close to Ice exhibit but not within walking distance in the very cold temperature. Ask taxi driver to wait for you, only 70 yuan an hour average, and in this cold you will not want to wait for taxi! Excellent daytime activity! Takes about 2 hours including warming hut, walking, and taking pictures!
